  1. Slightly obsolete bump but I'm thrilled when I find Coil stuff I've never heard before, tonight I'm in love with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v71NUsJt_eM
  2. The weakest for me is the Loch Ness album, although that's not really a Nightwind release. OOC and Oberheim Space are my faves, maybe because he played a handful of tracks of those albums live a while ago. The Saab Knutson one could really be an old Smackos album on Strange Life, glad to see this style (and his own label) return :) the Calimex one I still haven't heard more than once, going to put it on right now... Saw the Age of Candy Candy 2x12" in Rush Hour yesterday but for 24 euros it was too much for an album I already have on CD, and I'm still trying to not buy every new release he does... That said, I did find one of my alltime fave Legowelt releases repressed, the House of Jezebel - Love & Happiness 12" so I couldn't resist picking that up :)
  3. I absolutely love Oblivion and Genesis but still haven't made the effort to listen to Visions... Really didn't like Go but this article is giving me some hope now. Otherwise I still have Visions to enjoy :)
  4. Cherrelle & Alexander O'Neal - Saturday Love 3:17 - In Plug's Feeling So Special
  5. I'm uploading it to the watmm downloads section right now :) And here it is: http://forum.watmm.com/topic/88276-downloadssquarepusher-in-session-for-lauren-laverne-2015/
  6. ^ Great series, some fantastic mixes in there. That one is no exception! More soulful sassiness for the moody monday midday, in preparation for Dekmantel:
  7. Or even worse... http://www.factmag.com/2015/07/27/soundcloud-is-reportedly-dangerously-low-on-cash/
  8. Imo, the only deadline concerning this whole event is soundcloud getting a paywall on their website ( http://www.residentadvisor.net/news.aspx?id=30610). Or not, maybe it'll be fine, but it could be something to keep in mind. There's been several hundred new accounts per day signing up (most haven't voted yet) since those articles, so thankyou, definitely had an effect! No trouble at all, you did all the real work here :)

  10. ^ Noice! Last week the count was about 1050 users who voted for a top 30, now it's almost 1400, so it had some effect :)
  11. According to the guys behind Slam Radio, Level 12 will also get a physical release? Not sure if that's true but Level 10/11/12 all have the same message included on ovuca.com: 'Physical release information classified'.
  12. https://soundcloud.com/soma/slamradio-147-aleksi-perala?in=soma/sets/slam-radio The tune at 50 minutes in is just unbelievable. I'm not even sure if it's released or not, there's so much good stuff on the last three I'm just overwhelmed everytime. And what Macca said :) edit: the second half of this set... just WOW

  14. Nah, good job on getting their attention, that was the whole point :) I just seem to be taking their job more seriously than they do so I'll just back up. And here come the copypastes :) http://crackmagazine.net/2015/07/aphex-twin-fans-vote-for-tracks-on-potential-compilation/ http://exclaim.ca/Music/article/aphex_twin_letting_fans_pick_tracklisting_for_soundcloud_compilation
  15. Soulful music selection from a passionate and knowledgable DJ, 100% summer approved
  16. Very nice of them to mention xf and watmm, though the article implies it's just WATMM members voting on the poll As well as crediting that google doc to watmm even if it was the Aphex Twin Reddit subforum who created that thing. As well as leaving out a link to this thread for anyone that has feedback. As well as not explaining anything about the three voting options. Ah well, at least it's out there now, let's see what kind of impact it'll have, and if other zines will pick up on this too. Hope it works! Note to self: don't bother to write anything informative for these zines, just slingshot a tweet into the world :)
  17. That track is from one of the two outtake albums Aleksi himself apparently leaked on the web in 1999, some exceptionally good music on there. But yeah, this one is in 56kbps only unfortunately (Lactavent Outtakes is 128kbps). http://www.discogs.com/Ovuca-Onclements-Outtakes/release/447215 http://www.discogs.com/Ovuca-Lactavent-Outtakes/release/2084248
