  2. Whoa, nice one! Only have that first one on bandcamp but that would be nice to have on vinyl :)
  3. Looks like he also deleted all the "afx" tags in a dozen or more tracks that he had for years. I guess he finally realized it was too embarassing. Good on him!
  4. Never ripped a tape before, but I have loads I still need to do anyway so this might be a good workout. Let's see what happens when I get it :)
  5. https://hypercolour-records.bandcamp.com/album/strange-directions Released on the first day of September. 2 preview tracks up already :)
  6. Start with this compilation, IMO: https://www.discogs.com/Tangerine-Dream-The-Virgin-Years-1974-1978/release/2675590?ev=rr One of my alltime favourite TD tracks:
  7. Nice one, what Verd said. Would like to see this built up even more, works with a heavier kick too maybe. Keen to hear more anyway :)
  8. Clone must've gotten that title straight from Stinson back when they got the DAT, or maybe through help from Gerald Donald? I doubt they just made this up.
  9. Apparently mine was below average or below production costs, but they still award me with it? That's very kind of them to be honest, ty very much colundi crew :) (Would be really dubious if they would cancel it for that reason, why else implement a bidding system if you want a set price? I mean, I just made a random guess, I'd have no problem chipping in more). Same here, thanks colundi.Yep, also the same message here Just wondering, for those who didn't bid highly enough, it says we'll get the release. Does this mean the full package or a copy of the main album (digitally or whatever) and a partial refund? Seems an awful lot to give away if folk haven't covered the rrp. Maybe the costs will be partly covered by all the digital sales, I know I spent quite some money on those. It's a very, very generous deal this, so we shouId feel very lucky :) I'll also seriously consider a donation to cover more of the costs but that'll have to wait a bit until my wallet is ready for that again.
  10. Just got it in too, I wish the B-side was longer because I want to just drown in that track. First heard it when Aleksi played it in Amsterdam so it's associated with that moment, which is top as it was totally hitting the spot :) very curious as to what the album will be.
  11. Just got mine in together with some other gems, this one is more than a worthy welcome after all those years. Sounds a LOT better on the system than through the facebook stream too :^) I'll be playing this a lot, just soaked in good vibes
  12. Thanks for the heads up, I managed to grab the last one :) not seen it before but it looks goood

  14. I'd never even heard of this guy before today. I noticed there seems to be bonus tracks on the Boomkat FLAC edition. https://boomkat.com/products/strike-97573372-57ef-4672-8dd2-cdee59902c38 Oh shit! Sweeet. Edit: nevermind, clicked the link now, I just see the 8 original tracks, no bonus? You might know him under Newworldaquarium or Ross 154 (Autechre played tracks of that alias in their mixes before). One of the pioneers of Dutch deep house producers. I only recently found out the tracks from this Strike album were done in 1994 already, always thought it was early 00's because of the release date. Makes it even more impressive imo. Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 5X met Tapatalk
  15. One of my longtime fav albums of all time. Got the CD years ago but will pick this up without any hesitation. S/o to Jochem Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 5X met Tapatalk
  16. This album is really good. Also, facebook showed me they're working on the new EP:
  17. Oh right. Here you go: https://youtu.be/TTO0_z8v6hU?t=1h3m9s
  18. Finally a follow-up to the legendary Coathanger edit and infamous Squarepusher mixes!
  19. Ha, must've been used countless times in gabber but
  20. lol Oh yeah, that must've been de Hemkade in Zaandam, one of THE places for gabber back in the day. Anyway, yeah, check out The Third Movement roster (loads of mixes by DJ Promo from that era). Not sure if it's your thing but Void Settler is the weirdest one coming out of that label with more breakcore influences and generally very out of place. Few more classics: Wondering if you ever went to Industrial Shock parties in Trapman, Schagen, as my brother threw those parties :)
