yeah... that's the only way i know it... i've only been doing this for about 2 months now... i was bored one day caught up with work and the dude that normally does it was backed up and needed help... so i kinda taught myself how to do it!
i'm listening to this track while at work doing variable data between 2 computers... it's actually setting the mood quite nicely... i'm down with this track!
i played this when i djayed at a boutique in south pasadena a few years ago... one of my friends said it sounded like a thousand popcorn machines at once... the owner of the boutique told me not to play that track at her store again... miss that store... they closed down shortly after i moved!
that too... i was at a lake today! there's this one i've been meaning to go to and take pics at... there's a few trees that have some crazy mossy things growing from them. it makes them look like tripped out weeping willows!
the artwork reminds me of the cover art i did for a remix comp i did... "asymmetrical head presents: redos vol. 1"... same color too... but then again... i bit the designers republik style back then too... so it's full circle!
awesome... i just found the mag too, it's on the last page with kush arora, bathroom shaman, scatology and some software programs! i think it's issue 017 of 2005!
tomorrow's the day... i can't wait! yeah yeah... most of you dled it already... but i want something i can see, touch, feel, and smell as well as listen!
i haven't heard a peep from this album... autechre is one of those acts that i like to be suprised with... so tomorrow will be my first time hearing quaristice!
oh yeah... there was this time about 2 and a half years ago... i was listening to cap iv at work and when the chaotic ending came about, this dude said it sounded like a popcorn machine! he was a pretty ecentric dude in his own right, so i let it pass!
outpt to me was and still is a great track... sure it's repetative, but the drive of the track keeps it interesting for me... ccec was a track that at the time i thought was cool, but as years went by, this track has become one of my all time fav ae tracks... i djayed in the past and would mix these 2 tracks with hip hop stuff and they went well.
speaking of mixing, try this!
at the end of aphex's equation track mix in netlon sentinel!
autechre is always first on my list! i don't get too excited over others releasing musics! hell... i still never bought or heard any of the tracks from hello everything and campfire headcase!
