  1. Dunno how far out burger fi has expanded geographically speaking, but they make this bad boy with one kobe beef patty and one veggie patty, now woah, before i'm denounced for blasphemy...it's p fuckin good. I think they make their own veggie patties. They use white and yellow cheddar for an elevated cheese experience and "burger sauce" i.e. thousand goddamn island. Also call me superficial but them branded buns add to it. And aside from a little bread deflation, the real thing looks quite comparable to the photos Edit: it's on the menu as "the conflicted burger" lol
  2. Dude...i'm just now reading this almost a year later...incredibly thoughtful of you, no seriously. I really appreciate it.
  3. Lol i often try to convince both others and myself when i say "i love my state" I hope that heroin video goes viral. It'll be the best thing to happen to the barren wasteland of lake county since psychoactive drugs
  4. Sometimes the lines between these images get blurred and something beautiful happens
  5. Prdctvsm you must have the most dynamite tumblr feed
  6. This image should be here and everywhere else since apparently russia literally banned it
  7. Ninja Tune said my record shipped this morning <thumbs up emoji> <ok sign emoji>
  8. Mulholland Drive Obviously late but i'm redirecting the compulsion to make a whole thread about it. I'm enamored with everything about this movie, it has engulfed me. I now understand all the varied contexts in which this movie has been recommended to me before edit: can i just fucking make a thread about it anyways? wanna tear that shit apart ~cinematically~
  9. What kind of film? Looks cross processed, i'm in love with that turquoise sky and water
  10. He seemed so much pleasanter at a squarepusher concert but little did i know there was so much going on in that capped noggin
  11. Why did they cross out Teki Latex at the top
  12. That little shit i swear, keeps on with this "Actress is dead" thing. I'd be annoyed if i wasn't so hopelessly in love with everything Darren creates

    elseq 1-5

Ok so i always love when the normie bystander comments on my music, especially of the Autechre flavor, but this happened this morning and i'm still smiling.. I was pumping gas and had c16 deep tread (fave from elseq, those fuckin twangy snares are just uughhhh) blasting from an open window (apologies, i'm sorta the type that enjoys showing unwilling people what i listen to) and a truck pulled up on the other side, some early 40's white-collar dude After a while he's like "man what kinda stuff are you playing?" so i laughed and said "oh it is a bit a loud sorry, it's a group called autechre". Then he asks where they're from, such interest catches me off-guard. So i tell him and he's like "it sounds like this kind of techno...club...dark..." and i interjected "yes! It's like death techno, pretty experimental stuff" and he says "yeah i kinda like it" I told him to look em up, have a good day, and then i left. I'm realizing encounters like this give me some of the purest feelings of joy anymore. He may have gone and listened to the whole album, he may have forgotten the name as soon as i left, but like at least he knows that song exists ya know? In conclusion: death techno
  14. I have always imagined each machine needs to be shut down individually, like computers. Some of them have certain "shut down processes" and you shouldn't just cut off the power to them. This is just how I've always seen it, could be vastly inaccurate but i'd rather be safe than sorry
  15. Yeah i figured i'd need to experiment with my chains. Ya'll think it's wise to keep the older machines at the end of the chains? Newer at the beginning? Or what
  16. Yeah that's what i figured but like i'm not entirely sure how to maintain chains. Like for example i had my 909 going thru the tr-8 then the tb-03 then the er-1 and it seemed like each machine added another fraction of delay, so the er-1 was slightly behind. Maybe the age difference of each device held the signal back? I'm thinking i need to strategically put only 2-3 machines in each chain or something I'm sure there are simple solutions to this but i will gladly showcase my ignorance if it helps get my question answered lol
  17. I love seeing how many of you also have the ikea kallax somehow in your studio So i come here mostly for insight and assistance. After years, i have gotten all my machines unified and plugged into a mixer in proximity to each other, which is a personal feat on its own What i can't quite make a decision on is 1. how i want to get all of these midi connected so that they are in perfect sync and sequenced from my computer and 2. if i want to keep them all in this exact layout for ease of use Midi has always been kind of a headache for me so plz help For what it's worth, from left to right i have a Yamaha rx-5, Roland jp-08, Boss dr-880, Roland tb-3 (meh), Korg microkorg, Yamaha DX, Korg ea-1, Korg minilogue, Mackie profx16, Korg es-1, Roland sh-01, Korg er-1, Roland tr-909, Roland tb-03, and Roland tr-8
  18. I have it on vinyl, which is perfect for pitching it up to uncover different elements of each track. There's a lot of material that's kinda lost under the sludge by playing it at normal speed..kinda adds to the charm of this album
