  1. if people don't realize that Trump is just a symptom of a general backlash against overly-dogmatic progressive PC bullshit that's kind of on them not gonna mince words. it's kind of been a long time coming. that's just my take on it saw this coming a very, very, very long time ago and people bashed me. i warned everyone i knew and they told me i was a bad person. could have been easily prevented by not trying so hard to repress ideas you don't totally agree with dogmatism begets fascism
  2. https://plug.dj/energy-flash all electronic music is cool. techno, house, jungle, IDM, breakcore, experimental hope ta see ya
  3. Trolling or not, I've never understood this position. How and why has it been destroyed? Surely globalism has much more to blame for exporting jobs and leaving communities in tatters?I'm trolling. I actually love identity politics. It's awesome. ThanksI think it's pretty clear that bringing identity to the fore of every single issue is causing people to entrench themselves in their respective identity-based tribes. Like, if you wanna convince someone that you and them are different in an important and fundamental way, well don't be surprised if they take your word for it. You're getting just a mite bit too close to thought crime for my liking. You're on my shit list, buddy. I can't imagine what about my post would make you think of 'thought-crime' EDIT: If you watch documentaries about the Rwandan genocide, the Hoodoos or whatever talk about how it was like a madness slowly came over the entire population. A darkness. And it was egged on by the media, and the radio. The people on the radio. It was like this disease, some kind of mass disease - of the mind - was spreading throughout the population. And people went from sane to completely insane. And people never thought it could happen. But these things do really happen. They happen. And people never expect it. They think, "oh, we won't have that happen here." And then it does. And it seems like everyone is involved. That includes you. Everyone on this page. We all play a role in whether shit gets better or worse. We all play our part. And when shit gets BAD, we're all playing our part too. We're all responsible. We're all involved with these things. When bad things happen, every side is responsible. It's not just the left or the right. It's something deeper inside of us, that part of ourselves that says "eh, it's OK. you're human! I forgive you!" - when you lose that, you've lost everything. And as far as I can tell, the "progressive left" is fundamentally 100% as guilty of losing that as absolutely anyone else. If you can't even look in the mirror and question your own actions and say "maybe we're dehumanizing people with the way we talk about them" - like talking about 'white men' and shit... you don't realize that's what is driving people to feel hate and to embrace this DISEASE of thinking and PUSH it even further. And who is egging it on? The fucking TV. Just like in Rwanda. It's all being PUSHED. And the only way to stop it is to say NO and stop fucking involving yourself in it with the shit you do.
  4. I'm just joking man. Democrats doing something wrong is like a math equation that equates to "ERROR" on a calculator. It's like dividing by zero. It's a literal physical impossibility by all measures of scientific reason. The atomic structure of the elements will not allow that to happen. It's honestly fundamentally impossible.

  6. the idea that all this evidence is somehow clearly "laughable" and that anyone who thinks this is highly suspect is somehow obviously an "idiot" strikes me as ... well, incorrect, to say the least

  8. identity politics has literally destroyed society. it's hard to believe how bad it has gotten.
  9. Hey guys! I make music as Corn Cat and I have also just made this new album: I think you will all like it. I hope ya check it out. https://hypedream.bandcamp.com/releases Peace
  10. It was definitely sort of like the part of the movie where the character goes into a coma and is wandering around in some alternate universe.
  11. i agree completely with zeff, that shit was blowing my mind completely. totally off the chainn
  12. eastre kind of confused me until 20 minutes had passed and I realized I was still listening to the album I felt like I was on a journey and I think it's going to continue now
  13. this is like the Agharta of live electronic music mindboggling
  14. I recommend Lush too. The guitarist for CT produced their first few albums. They're rather similar. Gala and Spooky and then Split. I like them a lot.
  15. actually I agree somewhat. traditional instruments will be around for a long, long time to come obviously, so long as they sound better that said, I really think MIDI and its manipulation, as well as the way that we are going to think about it and how it can be manipulated by the body (as with a violin, etc) is going to play a huge role in how music progresses from here. the LinnStrument is just one of the first attempts I've seen to come up with the next era of instruments, It's very impressive. I imagine we can do much better than this though. think something like Steven Hawking's voice system
  16. watched the show I few times don't feel any emotional reaction to any of this at all personally I don't really agree with "sacking" people based on their actions outside their work, idk i think that plays into just perpetuating assholeness and in a way that actually hurts people and itsn't just words I genuinely don't give a shit about Top Gear, or cars, but the few times I watched the show I enjoyed the assholeness of the guys I don't see anything wrong with offensive masculinity and assholeness, even in its most "vile" manifestations via racist jokes etc I'm probably a moron heh, but I don't really claim to have the answers for some reason I just feel like there is something to be said for a little "oil guzzling" assholeness and political incorrectness from time to time. I don't feel convinced that people need to be sacked over this kind of thing that said I genuinely don't care but let's be honest here... some people do care about cars. a lot. can you really imagine a better show for them than Top Gear? so I guess now those people are screwed because politics
  17. yeah, but I'm glad they got there. otherwise we wouldnt have had firestarter which is fucking god tier honestly, this new rlease has me listening back on their first three lps and honestly, this group was, and is, frankly, one of the greatest fucking gifts to music that has ever existed this is really the only place i can say this and have someone look at my post and say "yeah, I get what you are saying" because this band transformed my entire view of music. I have so much to say about it, really, they're just the absolute shit in a way nothing else almost is. probably listen to the new album but I mostly just wanted to say that the first three albums are Funeral-Tier for me. Not even kidding, at all.
  18. If you're a "rockist" who is familiar with the summer of love, Pink Floyd, psychedelic music from that era, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Beatles, you know, that kind of stuff... Led Zeppelin... Well, Radiohead was basically the 90s version of Pink Floyd. A huge, sprawling, rocking, album band. There were other groups who combined electronics with rock music, but they did it with the most finesse and intelligence (though I like similar groups like Massive Attack, Portishead, and Super Furry Animals more, depending on the day)...but none of those groups had a track like "Paranoid Android." I can understand if you don't really like rock music or stuff with singing and guitars, but if you do, at all, OK Computer is quite simply one of the greatest recordings ever made.
  19. uh, I wonder. would this poll be simplified if we just collapsed half the categories into "AUTISM?" or is the patriarchy as alive and fucking well as I imagined
  20. mbv has gotten better with each passing year. it will probably eventually be considered an equal to the other two LPs. I really wish KS would put out more stuff ala AFX. I wouldn't be surpresid of there were tons and fricking tons of weird TAPE stuff dones prior to these albums.
  21. Shit sorry I meant to say fuck men We good we good now Seinfeld can approve of me again
