This store is a bit more exciting to constantly F5 than the soundcloud was. Like you have to dig a little bit to see what was udpated. Plus if he's pulling background shenanigans now too, who knows what other easter eggs and things we'll come across.

So nonchalant about it haha, oh by the way SAW 1.5 is coming out on vinyl. No big deal

Strange that Donkey Rhubarb Remix isn't include on Donkey Rhubarb, at least not yet.

ChoirDrilll almost certainly came from the same time/session/setup/whatever as this:

breaking out some tasty double ipa's for dis shit
Don't forget to roll a fat one too...

Man listening to Utopia gives me the best kind of nostalgia. Back when everyone was all skeptical like "This can't be Aphex"... Now 2 years later

Also worth noting that you could translate Buenos Aires as Pure Air.

That was my favorite episode so far I think. Feels like we're finally getting to some of the meat of the story. Tying Annie into the story was satisfying. Im glad they didnt just write her out. Plus seeing Ben and Jerry again is always welcome.
"That Douglas Jones, he moved like a cobra!"

I think I've stopped being able to enjoy Dopesmoker :( too many plays
Dopesmoker always was a little overrated, I prefer Holy Mountain more for regular listening.
Agreed. I've a actually barely listened to Dopesmoker comparatively. Just the length gets to me sometimes.
I absolutely love OM though, I've heard all those albums a ton. I never understood why Sleep is so much bigger honestly. To my ears they sound almost the same. And yet seeing OM live last year - there were maybe 150-200 people there? Tops? Sleep however sold out a 1500 capacity venue last month!

Yeah Im just gonna do two a week to try and savor it a little. Hopefully they stick to two per, be like a nice balance between the its serial TV origins and todays bing-watching tendencies

Definitely had a new feel, excited to see where it goes. I loved that Philip Jeffries is still around (well kinda).

Just picked this up and I gotta say it sounds amazing. Incredibly quiet and balanced pressing. I'm hearing so many details I never quite picked up on before.
Personal Rock next? :D

It's still annoying me that the book makes out that Norma's mom died. She didn't - she's in the show.
Some asked Mark Frost about that and he just replied "Patience". So could likely have been intentional.

Just finished the book last night. Was decent, nothing mind blowing but some interesting bits here and there. Really enjoyed hearing about the log lady's past especially. Overall I felt like it dedicated way too much time on the whole UFO/government conspiracy angle though. Hopefully the new series doesn't go full X-Files on us.
Read though some of the subreddit on the book earlier today too - there's some really intriguing theories out there regarding the authorship and possible forging of some of the documents. In particular a lot of people noted the use of "I" on the typewriter in place of "1" in certain places but not others, indicating the use of separate machines. Also of note were some impossible dates on some items, which initially might seem like just poor fact-checking, but Im not so sure. The book seems very well-researched. I suppose we'll have to wait and see how it all unfolds...

What track does this remind me of? Something off SAW2? The scale sounds the same as one of his tracks

Am I the only one who was incredibly soothed by Major Briggs voice? Like a Bob Ross with better diction.
Oh definitely not! Me and Biosphere both agree with you

Awesome, top album indeed. Hoping that when the vinlys get released that the digital versions will then include the bonus tracks. What's with the
strikethruof ~scape on the cover?I think that's just because it's on a different label, but they didn't want to change the cover art too much.

As if The Other People Place wasn't enough, now Jan Jelinek gets the well deserved reissue treatment. With bonus tracks! Can't wait for this - one of my all time favorite albums.

Mike & Rich makes for a wacky trip too. Me and my buddy once went to the record store and picked up a bunch of CD's then proceeded to go back to my place and drop a few stamps. We ended up reading every CD booklet in its entirety and decided after much deliberation that Mike & Rich were the only dudes cool enough to chill with us. So we hid all the other music around the house and just sat on the floor next to the upright CD case for a few hours

Fantomas sounds like a fucking terrifying trip by the way

Elve - Infinite Garden (Great for closed eye visuals!) Like journeying through the forest and finding a little hidden civilisation of elves building fractal structures and communicating telephatically. At least that's how I remember it.
Can't believe nobody said Shpongle yet! The is the album that got me into both acid and electronic music. Tripped many times to it and have always had a great time.
Wanda Group has some amazingly unique and textured sounds - can make for some incredible synaesthetic sensations when you come across one that hits you just right.

i could've sworn they said part of their deal with warp was that their stuff would never be out of print
Part of me feels like that part of their contact kind of fell apart with the advent of digital distribution. Like it's technically all available still, you know? But I have no idea

Flol @ Funeralopolis, I've done that IRL
Haven't we all?

I thought Bobby was pretty good in the original series too. His character was a bit cringy in general but I think he nailed the role
