  1. feel ya (tho i instabought the vinyls, too, well knowing that i'll probably never listen to them). but yeah ppl kept pestering them after elseq and well, it's not like we HAVE to get the physical, so it's all cool / non-cash-grabby in my book. in fact they're pretty much giving it out for free for casuals knowing ppl will bootleg the shit out of the radio shows anyway. also think of rob's children, college doesn't pay itself.
  2. yeah that was the part i was referring to here: surely an early highlight. it's so evenly laid out it makes this track seem the most "composed" of the bunch imo.
  3. qft. the production also isn't as refined as elseq's, which to me sounds so fatass and 3d it's almost like some pseudo surround at times. srsly try it out, put the lossless of dunno... debris_funk and spTh (similar vibe imo) in one playlist against each other, the latter will blow your balls right off in comparison. just sayn, might be another indication that this stuff is indeed more livey and hands on. all in all i really love this first package, tho not gonna lie: if someone would've asked me what i'd like to hear on a new ae albumish thingy "dat synth from hv moda just alone with the stutter effect of latent call" wouldn't have sprung to mind first. it really fits the flow tho.
  4. FFFFUUUUU three months??? yeah probably because stuff is indeed made up on the spot (to a certain degree) during the show, which explains the delay somewhat. also otherwise what's the point really, calling it sessions n shit, they'd just be free full previews, or something.
  5. the way the ping pong tune slowly but steadily transforms from menacing to magestic truely is one the most magnificent parts of this set and some of the best shit they ever done period. A+ btw the way the last track is cut off... aesthetic decision or an argument that stuff wasn't actually conceived for this particular time format? or rather that it was indeed some kinda improv and they just stopped. or something?
  6. Easier to put the finger on the one part i was least excited about and that'd be 1:02:30~1:17:00... don't get me wrong, it's wild and pretty awesome, but honestly sounds quite familiar... and somehow i just feel like one (defining) element is missing. dunno. everything leading up to that from 30 minutes on is top notch tho. like top top notch... and still so much more to cum... T_T It's a variation of that track from Live, right? I believe it was unofficially known as the "fart gallop"... 23:30 at Grafenheinekin ... "massive bass part" could applied to quite alot of that set tho lol. today i thought that 30min might be derived from the broken grandfather clocks. and that i love the telephone tune. and everything. <3
  7. yeah i mean all of this obviously still stems from AE_LIVE DNA, somehow i can't imagine another major release based on that. think of how reluctant they used to be "milking it", in their own words... and there's still onesix lying around somewhere... anyhoo this is great musics and it'll be an exaiting month.
  8. not a jazz connaisseur by any means but this and unit structures are great albums. RIP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nshs3inVmgw

I believe it was unofficially known as the "fart gallop"... 23:30 at Grafenheinekin hmmm, bears some resemblance, not sure tho. if it's indeed some remix i liked the galloping original better cos to me it sounds more... original. like i said, i still like it here, heads boppin all the way through n all, but it's just this kind of very busy breakbeat stuff that's become a bit of a cliché ... like devine or something like that (much more dubby tho). ah i'll stop now, will probably eat my words later anyway. just so happy this is around now. wouldn't be disappointed if it'd turn out being "it", release-wise, too.
  10. yeah man... that trademark alien melancholia / weird peacefulness... they don't really pull that all that much anymore. great bit. ________ yeah so... what is this? most definitely jammed live for the most part (at least less "arranged" than most of elseq, you loonies!) , probably especially for / during the broadcast. my best guess still is we'll be getting some iterations of these combined with a more edited thingy. or not. easier to put the finger on the one part i was least excited about and that'd be 1:02:30~1:17:00... don't get me wrong, it's wild and pretty awesome, but honestly sounds quite familiar... and somehow i just feel like one (defining) element is missing. dunno. everything leading up to that from 30 minutes on is top notch tho. like top top notch... and still so much more to cum... 12. like srsly it's not even that different to elseq in terms of meandering or whatever, so saying this shits all over it to me is like "huh?" but yeah whatevs. 2nd listen with bass now... oh the oomphiness :3
