  1. the "WAH!" 5 seconds into this never fails to crack me up: tho tbh i actually like ghey carcass best, like swansong... or this: i know it's basically a pisstake... but a damn convincing one :D
  2. oh i didn't attend, bud who did linked the video "you would've like the singer's t-shirt" XP... but alledgedly they were better than paradise lost that evening at least. dunno, i kinda liked that vid from earlier in this thread but honestly all but forgotten about em since then.
  3. http://nightchannels.com/autechre-amber-shirt/ in case u wanna cop yeh thanks i already discovered it while looking for that amber bootleg ;). think i'll stick to my (too large) onesixers tho... memories ♬
  4. 1st track of the forthcoming 8th krallice album will be a cover of the title track of this: https://beastlor.bandcamp.com/album/this-forest-for-which-we-have-killed you read it here first ;) ... getting ready for würzburg on friday: fucking exait!! first warning then pagan altar sans terry (rip) topped by the mighty cirith ungol.. this oughta be one massive emo weekend. __ while getting warmed up i kinda rediscovered these guys:
  5. pallbearer, thursday, berlin... mind the singer dude's t-shirt :)
  6. it's the same Dave Phillips from Fear Of God? So good... yup.
  7. +1 on chicago episode. completely vain outlier. kai greene tho, rl goro.
  8. i got close to 3500 steam hours in fucking warframe :I ... truth is it's an adequate time sink / button happy pasttime while listing to music or playing with your body with the free hand but not that much of a game really... there is literally nothing that can't be completely cheesed with the right loadout, so even "endgame" content turns out incredibly trivial. as FTP they need powercreeping gear to be able to make their bucks but they've crept in a total corner by now where conflicts are totally binary: be one-shot (due to broken enemy scaling) or perma cc the whole area 24/7, resulting in gameplay that's closer to diablo / clicker heroes than an action / 3rd person shooter title. so because there is basically no difficulty friction at all they make up for it with RNG and repetitiveness. but if you stay away from the meta you can have a jolly time alright. overall presentation is pretty great and getting better by the hour. art style is often very moebius (grineer) and giger-style biomechanics (warframes) inspired which is really cool. customization possibilities are ridiculous and when you start out there's shitloads to explore. if you're prone to completionist addiction / sunk cost fallacy i'd seriously be careful tho. tbqh i'd love to get most of that time back, i have sunk much less time in much better games... warframe really is more like an ongoing collector hobby. the newest open world update IS pretty great tho and feels really fresh, only problem is it's very detached (loot economy wise) from the rest of the game so if you're a newb you're really wasting your time there (in terms of "progress"). one pro side of the no-skill-required-ness is that the community is usually very friendly and doesn't mind carrying you as a noob. devs are also quite receptive for criticism and frequently correct flaws... of which there are MANY tho. some bugs /exploits just stay in the game for YEARS. thing is there is so much content and gear by now they obviously lost overview / a coherent vision what's the game supposed to be. blah blah so yeah "wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle". good brainless fun tho. never tried destiny so no idea how it compares to that.
  9. ok so yellow guys somehow managed to appear even more dispensable live than on record. no stage presence what-so-ever (except the drummer, he seemed kinda into it). sorry. apparently one of em is jingle composer for commercials, one would think they'd be able to churn out some memorable tunes according to that but...
  10. LOÜM!!! https://krallice.bandcamp.com/album/lo-m even more gorguts style than ygg huur... no wonder, most writing credits go to marston this time. i gotta feeling the other one will be rather complimentary *cough* :) bud's playing with yellow eyes next week so i guess i'll check them out... but tbh what i heard on their bandcamp was remarkably unremarkable. (specially compared to them bosses ^)
  11. so good. another hit (of many): dat break @ 2:47 tho...
  12. work your way through, there is no bad death album and if you can dig leprosy as well as sound (which are pretty much opposite cornerstones) you'll most probably appreciate all the different phases anyway. otherwise just get symbolic :3
  13. this guy i swear... shits out games faster than i can solve em: early access available since yesterday... seems to harken back to spacechem somewhat.
  14. brilliantly sarcastic cultural commentary whose time had finally come or just the tacking on of some old random idea that had been conveniently lying around? or maybe both... or even neither? or should we ask? oh wait... _ anyway if it was the former i still think he could have made it using what was at hand, too, but yeah. at least the character was mildly amusing as opposed to, say, diane *ugh*. yeah we get it, dern's your muse, but the way he tried to inject some life into her with that forced grumpiness... plain awkward. (the confrontation scene with mr. c was quite intense, tho.) took the back seat for the worse? haven't read the book. is green glove guy (ggg) in there?
  15. 2 new krallices around the corner, one featuring dave from neurosis on vokill duties, title: loüm. hype! ordo ad chao reigns supreme yo.
  16. come to think of it why even arbitrarily introduce some cockney dude with super human strength (who supposedly gets directed by the fireman the most excplicit and therefore inconsistent way) to kill bob when we already had glorious nadine? like mr. c could have soiled her drapes with the brains of some victim and in a rage she punches BOB out of him and into oblivion, BÄM! talk about missed opportunities :P. according to this http://ew.com/tv/2017/09/15/david-lynch-twin-peaks-finale/ he was literally just some random idea that had been lying around for a while. it's exactly this kind of inspiration over craftsmanship issue i think he used to get down better / more balanced.
  17. a distracting lack of presence sounds almost paradoxical (lynchesque even?) but i see what you mean :D ... anyway i would have taken him (and / or sam) anyday before the fucking mitchum brothers, freddie or rebecca... also: how is annie? oh well... alsoso: yeah that scene's pretty badass, still haven't seen the missing pieces, wish there was a standalone release.
  18. woah this is insane :O ... only had DDII on the NES, feeling srsly left behind hearing these.
  19. i think i would've liked S03 better overall if he'd put the show's legacy at least a bit more over his self indulgence. anyway i'm not "blaming" him for following his intuition, "david lynch is not my bitch". on the other hand i don't feel oblidged to suck everything up he throws our way simply because of loyalty and actually i am (or was) quite a great lynch enthusiast up to mulholland drive. like i said i quite liked some of the imagery and storylines, others on the other hand felt completely hollow and quite simply boring to me and on the whole i feel stuff was rather poorly patched together, following no distinct rhythm... if you think that's part of the idea / charme, well good for you (and david lynch). Didn't Tarantino himself use these exact same words after the Fire Walk With Me premiere? lol i honestly didn't know that. well, kinda obvious thing to say anyway.
  20. figured i got things mixed up because of the two-hour premiere thing. sorry again. (*cough* it certainly felt longer tho *cough*)
