that is very interesting. seems kind of silly to me to be so protective of a live experience. i enjoy the hell out of that 05 sbd. i listen to that more than most albums and it really opened up untilted for me after spending so much time with that set. seems weird they would want to deprive anyone of that. concerning the 2001 boards, i have 2. one is def widely circulated (may 9th in toronto) but i have another that's from may 18th in oakland. i ' really seen it anywhere else. its really great quality. it starts with some weird heavy metal jam. im pretty sure i upped it on xlt a fw years ago. i will up it again if you guys dont have it.

wow a tool discussion in the ae subforum! yes, look into tool kramer! mody - isis is amazing for sure. i wouldnt say they are better than tool only for a lack of variety. but i do enjoy them just as much new tool record for sure will not have alex grey. 8 or so years of collaboration is long enough. tool fanboys are the same as boc. they search for hidden meanings in a whle lot of nothing. difference is, tool puts things in for them. some are jokes, some are serious. like playing the beginning of intension backwards, maynard says to stay in school, listen to your father and mow the lawn or some shit. classic tool. now if he could stop dicking around with pussyfur and record some tool shit damn it! oh yea. autechre. preordered the other day. got the 24 bit wav because hat jackass in that youtube video told me to.

Same. I never listen to leaks, no matter the artist. Well I "accidentally" listened to a leak of the last Tool album because there was so much fuss over the leak being a fake, that I wanted to hear the fake before I heard the real deal. Then it turned out the supposed fake was the real deal. And I was pissed at all the internet fanboys for making me think it was a fake when it wasn't. Point being, I don't like leaks. lol. those were crazy times for that tool leak. all those fake covers that people were freaking out over. haha. i do pretty well with leaks from my favs. i wont for tool, isis, ae, etc. the most difficult part is not reading what everyone says before it but then by the time you get to talk about it, you are saying things people said months ago and feel like a schmuck

i've had a few "ae in public" situations! my favorite was when i was at a red light listening to fermium full blast and there was a convertible beside me with 4 white girls looking straight ahead and horrified! this doesn't mean said girls weren't ae fans, it is just a natural reaction to fermium.

In the process of all this I've decided to actually give anything Quaristice one final chance. Perlence range 7 is fucking awesome. i was listening to this track at lunch at in n' out burger today in my car. this dude walks by and looks at me with a look on his face like "this is familiar" and started doing air drums and nodding his head at me! does the haunting soul eat at in-n-out burger? did he seem to disappear only for you to turn your head in time to see his face pressed against your windshield with burst ketchup packets screaming about wood tocks?
