  1. From Bancamp: https://oval.bandcamp.com/album/now-never-whenever-vol-2 Now / Never / Whenever Vol.2 Includes download in mp3, FLAC and more. Paying supporters also get unlimited streaming via the Bandcamp app. Your money reaches the artist quickly and fairly 1. Blinkyvista 04:50 2. Anderslo 03:27 3. Fla 03:07 About this album Welcome back to the ever-evolving landscape of Oval's "Now / Never / Whenever" EP series. Like its predecessor, "Vol.2" is a fleeting exhibit of Oval's creative flair, presenting a curated selection of exclusive, previously unreleased material that dissolves into the ether after 24 hours. Track comments Vol.2: 1 - Blinkyvista (2022) After releasing “O” in 2010, I transformed several of the 50 minimal vignettes from the second disc into longer, evolving tracks for my live sets. These featured jazz drums and electronic sounds, mainly from the mighty Surge software synth – a tool that's still a staple in my toolbox today. This version is a 2022 makeover of “Blinky,” revisiting the jazz drums and adding my take on avant-garde instrumentation and ethereal faux vocal harmonizations. 2 - Anderslo (2015) This track is from a perfume-themed album that I had nearly completed (98%, I thought at the time) and had been working on for years. It's been sitting idle since then, more or less waiting for technology to catch up. However, when remastering this particular outtake, I realized that reworking these tracks might be an endless endeavor. So, the perfume album might get released as it is, after all. 3 - Fla (2014) This track is from a “song album” that I started back in 2014, which has intermittently been on the back burner ever since. “Fla” stands out as the most experimental track, while the rest of the 12-track album explores a form of catchy DIY songwriting. I find myself constantly debating whether this approach is an outdated concept from the start. “Now / Never / Whenever” is an episodic experiment, a sonic journal cataloging outtakes, reworkings, and experiments from the secret shelf… exclusive today, elusive tomorrow. Look forward to a new monthly mirage, every Bandcamp Friday. Each EP adds new pieces to a sonic puzzle, creating a shape-shifting, virtual album that vanishes in a blink. Markus Popp [Note: As always, this EP is available on a "pay what you want" basis for its 24-hour lifespan. Your kind support directly fuels these ongoing experiments in sound - thank you.]
  2. I'm a fan of Kendrick. Do you really think the last three tracks of EDM O are so bad they shouldn't be in included on Village?
  3. I preordered the vinyl for myself even though I don't own record player. I also bought a cd to lend to friends. I'm feeling no guilt about the leak. If anything I'm grateful I can go back to living a normal life, one where I'm not refreshing watmm every two seconds.
  4. At about 34 seconds there a sample that sounds like it belongs with the porn/fantasia sample (a coming out party? Etc) I doubt afx'd go back to the well or use something so similar. Could be wrong though. Still sounds fake, too much 8bit noodling.
  5. I've probably listened to 'Any No. Between 1 & 17 (Autechre Remix)' close to a thousand times, no exaggeration. Does there exist a higher quality version of that track that I might be able to persuade you guys to sell to me if I were to come into a load of money? Like if I gave you a million dollars could I get a 24bit WAV of it? You guys are the best, thanks for doing this thread.
  6. I've just started Dead Space 3. If anyone wants to team up for the co-op lemme know. Gamertag: AlfredPMcLovely
  7. The ending of '1 1 is' is so good that it makes me smile when I'm on a crowded subway, which I hate because it makes me look like a weirdo.
  8. I love this album so much. Been listening to it nonstop since release. I think it's the best thing they've done since Draft, maybe Confield. I'm so glad they brought the beats back. Queersauce, OS, and MoT failed to leave lasting impressions.
  9. 2 hours since I found out and bleep.com is still a puddle of piss.
  10. Waiting for bleep.com... Website is currently unreachable This website is offline No cached version is available FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK edit: I gotta go for a fucking walk before I explode.
  11. Bleep won't load!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the fucking shit!!! I am so goddamn angry right now. And it won't load from the direct link they sent me. edit: Thank god for waffles and pancakes otherwise I wouldn't be able to download the goddamn album I paid for.
  12. I just tried to go back an listen to Actress R.I.P. I can't. That see on see remix ruined it for me. It really is as bad as Asernisky makes it out to be.
