BT makes music that I find utterly bland, the only other adjective I could apply would be cheesy. Plenty of people make what I consider to be bland music, but few seem to be praised as much as he does for being innovative. I just dont get why anybody considers his music innovative, unless their only other listening experience was Cliff Richards discography.

Jim O'Rourke - I'm Happy and I'm Singing and a 1, 2, 3, 4 (double CD version). The first track "I'm Happy" is my favourite and is flipping amazing. 8/10 overall for the 6 album tracks, but the first track is 10/10 for sure. http://www.discogs.c...release/1811667

Pet Shop Boys - Please/Actually/Introspective and the amazing Disco (to pick just one) album of theirs, all top class stuff. Maybe one of The Police albums. Jean-Michel Jarre - Magnetic Fields/Rendez-Vous/Zoolook. 808 State - 90 With hind sight releases I have since discovered from the 80s Vidna Obmana & PBK - Monument Of Empty Colours & Gathering In Frozen Beauty.

Vidna Obmana & PBK - Monument Of Empty Colours Vidna Obmana - Gathering In Frozen Beauty Both amazing ambient albums, some of the very best. Listened to them both many times over the past few weeks. They are from the 80s, and though ambient have a industrial and gritty aspect to them. They arent a million miles away from SAW2. These are taking me in the zone when I'm listening to them, has to be a 10/10 for both.

I assume you've heard the album on another format though? If you havent give it a listen, its not as great as Metamorphic but it is good. I like his earlier stuff the best and having heard moxely moy and kanderal would love to hear his first 2 albums that were released on another label. Hope they get re released, seems criminal that stuff is unavailable when they could just sell it as a download if they dont want the expense of a full release.
