Sorry to bump an old thread, but an amusing anecdote: I had a Quaristice promotional poster up for sale on ebay, and it recently sold. After looking at the seller details...it just so happens to be another USA based Warp artist

"technocoronation" Love it. Yeah treale is one of my favorite Autechre songs of all time
-
I dig it...I was nervous when I heard he did vocals in the latter half of the track. But I wouldn't have noticed it if I didn't know it

Great interview! Really enjoyed it

https://www.vhshead.com website updated and now with a Patreon link for future videos and more of the music making process. I joined at the top tier since I like to support him, you should too if you can spare a few bucks! (Nothing posted as of yet though)

Just now seeing this on his “threads” account. Ugh, too much social media to keep track of. I heard it may see a November release date but I’m not holding my breath

Yeah and there's no rush to understand the music or feel like you need to enjoy it. Some of their records I don't listen to very often because I just let them unfurl for me over the years. Some click instantly, some take a while

I literally think my favorite RDJ material is the Rushup Edge EP

Bought Tears of the Kingdom about a month ago, it's been really fun so far. I don't think I've even scratched the surface so far despite probably like 10-15 hours, mostly just doing shrines and side tasks

Aphex/Ae/BoC all together. What an amazing era

The Krakow set has this part specifically at 39:00

I asked Sean if the piece in this video had a name, simply because it was my favorite part of the 2015 soundboards. He said he probably made something up for PRS forms, but nothing more permanent than that

Stars of The Lid's Brian McBride dies at 53

Real sad news. “And Their Refinement” is a top 5 record for me. Like the poster above me, I was also able to see them live twice. The most memorable was the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, May of 2008. A friend from the twoism forums couldn’t make it and simply gave me his two front row tickets. Truly an amazing, unforgettable show. He’ll live on in his music -
Can't decide if I love or hate the album artwork. Excited nonetheless

Warp just linked to the Ae store for updates. You guys think a new release is imminent? I'm personally of the AE Live camp, so maybe we are getting those soundboards finally, but maybe it could be the fabled soundboards from 2010 or earlier...who knows!

Gotta check this out. I underestimated the bathroom line and ending up missing the first few minutes of this show, and then ended up near the back of the venue. Still was an amazing night, and the unreleased RDJ tracks from this night are killer

I did my local IMAX screen for Oppenheimer, not a true 70mm showing but still better than a regular screen. Really enjoyed it, was a little underwhelmed by the Trinity test recreation. I swear a couple "fireball" shots from the trailer weren't in it
