Techno Trousers anyone? no one else saw that about an hour ago? I am listening to it a few times now, 2:57 wonder if it was mis labeled/re-uploaded? I haven't heard all the tracks yet tho so I have no idea yet. Just curious
Doesn't sound like aphex at all to me really. That bass is horrid compared to aphex twin's style.
was definitely not a stand out track or anything, I never claimed it was good either. I was just trying to figure out what it was, I thought it was on the same SC as the other tracks, I see now that Richard pulled the ol' switcharoo.

Not sure what happened but for a min. it looked like all tracks were down, it had a pic that was crappy mspaint letters saying lol not afx and had the 'Techno Trousers' track up, I did nab that one quick but upon reloading all the tracks were back and a new one added. so weird, i feel like Tristan saw it too, he posted right before me with the 'loool' and a link to the soundcloud

I just went to Love 7 which was the first track going into the direction of SYRO. It sounds really cool now. I didnt like it much back then
I agree upon hearing this track more recently it does give me that sense of direction heading to Syro. That said I have always thought this track was great, played the live version of it repeatedly, then it was released with the bonus Analords and it was a great xmas surprise back in 2009. Same thing with most of the Syro tracks from old sets before the album was released, played this shit out of all those unreleased tracks.

I've had it on repeat in the car almost continuously since release day, got to be somehere in the neighborhood of 50 plays now. Not getting bored of it either, I'm still getting more and more familiar with it I think. I listen to other stuff at home but on the road anything but Syro just feels wrong at this point.

A week away and I come back to new Aphex Twin release info *Joygasm* I definitely pre-ordered that shit immediately. Already had the day off to celebrate my birthday, now it's gonna be the real deal. Also great birthday surprise from Rich leaking some info. on the 18th. Thanks watmm for 87 pages of nothing and some of my day i'll never get back

It was an interesting era for him, 1985-1995. So many different styles being explored and invented. Knowing that he releases music sometimes years after making it, some Caustic tracks might be very old.

I've had that for years; at least since early 2000 - it was on a compilation of 'random AFX' tracks that had the Peel Sessions, etc.

Yea have had this one for awhile too, some swear it is some kind of work of James but I'm very skeptical
and yes there are a few small things missing from this blog, and some stuff that should be removed as it is not what it claims.
one thing off the top of my head that is missing is that very short clip posted here on watmm long ago which Vibert put up somewhere online, about a minute of him and Richard fucking around with their gear even tho he said it went on for hours

It's such a light video, I don't get the fuss. I like it because it's fun...
yea, I love the video and don't find it frightening at all, and do think it is fun as well, but someone not in the same mindset or not really an Aphex fan might just be freaked out, the music alone can be scary, it adds to the intensity too, lots of foreign stuff there to someone who doesn't listen to much electronic music or watch many horror movies and such
