  1. Total speculation, but the London date is going to be announced on Feb 1st. Perhaps something in the way of samples or maybe even the digital download will be released then?
  2. Jeff Wayne - War of the Worlds Haven't listened to this in ages, it's epic!
  3. that wasn't an underworld track, it was by aybee... that playlist suffers from fail in the form of erroneous "song title - artist" nomenclature Ah that's good then.
  4. Was just about to post lack of Autechre in the playlist... Oh well, at least I heard that new Underworld track... pretty different to their old output, not really my kinda thing either :(
  5. Dude, that 4 minute preview definitely is a fake. It was made by gl0tch who is a member of this very forum. In my opinion, what you have downloaded as the album is also a fake. However, I might be wrong. Who knows? It's out in two months...
  6. That's what I thought - It's definitely a fake but it's a pretty killer track anyway.
  7. The two of these statements combined give me the feeling that if you previously had the chance to get promos, you just blew it... lol yeah I realise how bad those two statements sound together, though I do usually hold out for albums to actually be released rather than nabbing leaks or digital pre-releases. I did that with Quaristice - almost drove me insane waiting for the special edition to come through the post. I know most people are good with promos and don't leak them, but there's always usually one that'll let it slip...
  8. Well they did release the Quadrange stuff but I never really saw that as an EP. I agree though, going back to some of those EPs I had totally forgotten about has been awesome. I listened to Cichlisuite for weeks on end when I first bought it and I'll probably go back to doing the same now. Couple of things: 1. How on Earth haven't those promos leaked on to some kind of filesharing place yet? 2. How does one go about applying for Warp promos? I do actually write a fair number of reviews on the internet so it would serve a purpose...
  9. Not sure if this is old news but from what I've worked out the album will be 67-68 minutes long (i.e. a good length :D ). 16 bit: 720,000,000 bytes (*8) = 5,760,000,000 bits (/44100) = 130612 (/16) = 8163 (/2) = 4082 seconds (/60) = 68 minutes 24 bit: 1,060,000,000 bytes (*8) = 8,480,000,000 bits (/44100) = 192,290 (/24) = 8012 (/2) = 4006 seconds (/60) = 67 minutes Sad or what?
  10. everybody check out a few Futureimage albums at juno.com, some of the finest music i have ever heard using monomachines and machinedrums Awwwww cheers man! Everyone should also check out Fluorescent Grey's Improvised Electronic Music series - pure brainfuckery at its best.
  11. Absolutely brilliant machine. After a year of having it I bought the Monomachine. It's the best pairing in terms of gear I think I've ever come across. Can't wait for whatever Elektron have up their sleeve next.
  12. A lot of people slagged this off because it sounds "too much like Ae".
  13. Only realised today there's a shit load of very high frequency stuff going on in there. Sounds almost a bit like Ryoji Ikeda was in the same studio. :P Stereo difference of Pro Radii is awesome. The rest of the album is mastered very strangely when you go into the panning of it, you get a load of high mids and highs coming out but nothing much else. I wonder if their intention from the start was to make an album with as much bass as possible.
  14. It's scary how some of that does actually seem to sync.... still fucking hilarious though.
