I was planning on going to this but I had a social anxiety freak out at the time and being at the Standard with the cool kids was too much. Still wish I’d gone.

Yeah, it’s not perfect* but it is quite something. Really compulsively watchable and well done and some brilliant acting (Sanada is basically perfect in this role). Feels like an honest classic so far. *

Getting around to finishing off Control on my ps4 (just bought a ps5 but for some reason decided to keep playing on the 4 because, dunno, tradition?). Just throwing shit at everyone has been a nice stress reliever, lately, particularly while closing off the main story at a fairly OP level. But the fucking Hartman boss fight in the AWE DLC…. Fuck that. I’ve been meaning to play the Alan Wake remaster (never played AW at all), but seeing that fucker again might make me break the TV.

I think there’s some piss taking involved. Sometimes seems like it’s going to veer hard into some unabashed American flag waving but then the American characters fuck it all up (for all mankind) pretty spectacularly, lol.

I have the Schiit Mani, no complaints! It replaced one of those old ART DJ Pre II units (you can still get those for under $70). The Mani was a noticeable improvement.
