i just realised i said the same thing as you. i just linked a different video.
I see a third Jenkinson executive produced Daydreams so assume that was his hook-up. Hope Daydreams gets a vinyl release it's lovely.

Hmmm I still love Damogen the most of his output since Hello Everything.
New track actually gives me Baltang vibes.

Huge fan of that hypnotic techno sound and preview track sounds extremely promising. Love Donato!

Mad the revenue generated from 14 mins of music. Respek.

there's a mime type error on that mp4. i'd definitely be interested in hearing it
What do you mean by a mime type error out of interest?

Seems to be mainly a loop. I've hurt my back but when I get a chance I'll upload whole track.
Was quite interesting, seller sent it for free with this rare as hens teeth 12":

Got London tickets. Should be good. Haven't been to Ally Pally since white stripes in 2003.

Stumbled on this by accident. The great reissues trend continues
https://bleep.com/release/426375-photek-modus-operandi
I actually just paid a hefty penny for an original copy on discogs. Same thing happened after I bought feed me weird things. I think they're just watching my discogs purchases
I'm also having a horrible run of reissues of things I have originals of:
FUSE - Dimension Intrusion
Villalobos - Alcachofa
Omar Rodriguez-Lopez - entire back catalogue.
Anyways I don't have this so it's good news, although £50 is taking the piss.

I saw Trevor Jackson was being an edgelord again playing an all Israel mix on NTS.

Dublin is fucked. I live 100 miles away and I'm not going as I don't want to stay over or pay Europe's most expensive gig prices.

DImension Intrusion is one of my favourite albums, I have the white vinyl but it's not a great pressing.
Will get this reissue so I can crank it.

Then anything ‘Aphex Twin’ plus Warp seems to have strayed quite far from the anti-marketing, anti-hype ideology by now
Seemed to be in the air at the time. Radiohead doing the tent tour with no logos, Naomi Klein etc...
Probably not an influence on Richard per se but seemed to be the thing at the time.

I guess you could do that if you moved to a low cost country. Leyland Kirby lives in Poland, and seem to make a living out of making music. For EOD? No chance of make a decent living out of 1000 dedicated fans residing in Norway. An old acquaintance of mine quit a very good job in public radio and moved to Berlin around 2010 to make a living of making music. He has managed to do that since, mostly because of excessive DJing and affordable costs. I´m happy for him, but wonder what it will be like when he turns 50? 60?
Anyway. I searched for this topic because I wondered what Wisp do these days. Probably a boring job and a family. But can he please release some of his old stuff on bandcamp?
Pretty sure Leyland back in England.

Damogen top 3 for me with Ultravisitor and FMWT.

I like him but all his tracks do be very similar that I've heard.

My Aphex story is I traveled from the US to London for Field Day and just missed getting a record. I went with my cousin who smoked a joint before we left but didn’t have anything on him and still got stopped by security because the drug dog sniffed him. They brought him to a closed off area and I waited around for him for a bit because I thought it would be a quick pat down but he was in there for about two hours. He said there were people smoking in line and tossing all kinds of drugs on the ground. After a while I went up to the merch tent and they were already sold out, which was soul crushing. I assumed they’d have quite a bit left since he sold leftovers from the other shows on his site before. I was too much of a burger to meet up with anyone from here while I waited, though I should have.
Also I thought British people loved queuing but I ended up getting into a verbal altercation with some guy who tried cutting in front of our line at the urinals after I was waiting for like 20-30 minutes to piss. He was standing in between two lines talking to his friend and when he saw the person at the front of my line was distracted he cut in front of her and looked back to his friend and laughed, which infuriated me, so I shamed him until he got back behind his friend. I could've easily gotten my ass kicked but it would've given me an excuse for pissing my pants.
Aphex Twin put on an absolutely incredible show though. I only saw him one other time, in Brooklyn in 2019, and I would definitely make the trip to see him if he plays any other festivals or shows next year. I’d just make sure to get there super early for any potential exclusive records.
You travelled all the way from the US to London to see a fine bitch like Aphex and the best you could do is this boring ass story?

Just to note I honestly think Sign is top 2 Ae for me ever. Can't believe its been 3 years. Many thanks Sean and Rob.
