  1. This is a taste of what it will feel like when AI gets good enough to produce music. New record by your favourite band every week!
  2. God damn that is a nice clean version of it! Will have to cut that out and put in my "misc squarepusher" folder...
  3. Very much yes I would support a Kickstarter project for this.
  4. https://datassette.bandcamp.com/album/void-fill-product Haven't had a chance to listen yet but a full length album from datassette sounds like great news, I love his previous work.

    HELIOSPHAN

I thought this was a new thread until I came across my own comment from fourteen years ago. Thanks for making me feel old.
  6. This is very confusing, because he has already done a release in 2016 named "Human Touch": https://www.discogs.com/Rolando-Simmons-Human-Touch/release/10465289 And all of these tracks are from previous releases, like the Bridgeland EPs and some Trackermatte stuff. All very good stuff, of course, and it makes me think that I should go back and listen to some of the stuff I don't usually play more closely ?
  7. I haven't followed this thread but I wanted to share this amazing live performance by Entombed in 1996: https://youtu.be/UEAuLiEUFWM The start of Like This With The Devil is especially great: https://youtu.be/UEAuLiEUFWM?t=719 Edit: Also please let me know how to properly embed Youtube links...

    Brexit :(

Are you saying that you are not finding these people to be agreeable?
  9. You where so right. I'm glad I caved and got the leaked version. Now I know the tracks already and can treat myself to listen to all the little details instead of just trying to "get" a track I've never heard before.
  10. What, extra version of Collapse on release day? I was thinking that alternate versions would perhaps be added like a month after release. But I'm not complaining! Man I don't know if I can wait until tonight to hear this. Maybe I'll have to call daycare and say that my bus was in an accident and that I'll be late in picking the kids up...
  11. Thanks for the heads up! Guess I have to clear some time in my schedule to go through and mark my favourite tracks :) Tip: "Ceephax" and "Ceephax Acid Crew" are two different artists on Spotify.
  12. As someone who often plays his music slowed down I would love to have this kind of slowed version of every track on Syro, and very much of every track on Collapse as well. I love how you get the time to really listen to the textures of each sound and how the beats are constructed, without suffering either the pitch shift or artifacts that results from playing the file slower. Maybe it's a sign of old age...
  13. So post like these coupled with the facts that I'm in no way an audiophile and that I will do quite a lot of driving tomorrow which means that I probably have a slightly higher chance than usual to die pushed me over the edge.
  14. This is new stuff to me. Haven't listened to the other tracks yet but the track at 27min is really great, thanks for the tip! To me it sounds very Braindance, like Vulva or Ovuca. Maybe this album (available on Spotify btw) might help me remain master of my domain...Its mark pritchard, teenage friend of aphex twin, releasing an album on warp records.....Haha yeah I bet I'm the last person on this forum to hear this. I don't keep up with Warp releases in any way. This forum and Spotify's Discover Weekly playlist is basically the only place where I discover new music. :) Soz I didn't mean to come across as a dick, and it's not immediately obvious who the alias belongs to <snip> No worries :)

  17. 3:51 in the video the video reminds me of 2:19 in this video, I bet it was on the list of significant places that Richard gave to Weirdcore: (added the timestamps to the URLs but it seems that you will have to find the correct places in the videos manually anyway. I'm sorry)
  18. Yeah, what did happen? I was so excited by the thought of that...
  19. I feel like such an idiot... After reading about all you ordering Tuss vinyls I was checking through my CDs and though "Huh, too bad I never bought the Tuss releases". An hour later I had a thought in the back of my head and looked through my vinyls. And sure enough, apparently I bought them when they where first around. Now, after looking at how much they where selling for, I feel that I should either sell them or fix my broken record player... At least I should move the records to where the kids can't reach them! Thank you people for reminding me!
  20. OK I said I was going to bed but then I found this: https://aphextwin.warp.net/release/86888-afx-korg-traxtunings-for-falling-asleep Edit: "korg funk 5" was the song accompanying the interview with the Korg engineer right? But I haven't heard "korg 1b" before and it's great!
  21. Oh my god, so much stuff to check out, so little time. Since I have a long drive ahead of me in less than six hours I will just have to settle on "end E2" a couple more times, so goood! Also this comment on Syro: Fuck yes I'm interested!
