  1. Pawley's Island is a beach in South Carolina. Used to go there every year with my family. One of my favorite places in the world and spooky too with "The Grey Mans Ghost".
  2. I'm surprised this isn't getting more attention on this forum. Music like this is the only reason this forum even exists. It's just so sick!
  3. So sick! What a great surprise!
  4. So take one. Post pics online of the results. Thanks in advance for PROOF. "The tests were conducted for over a year using different systems and a variety of subjects. The systems included expensive professional monitors and one high-end system with electrostatic loudspeakers and expensive components and cables. The subjects included professional recording engineers, students in a university recording program, and dedicated audiophiles." "I could proove you wrong but what's the point" haha
  5. Claiming one can hear the difference between 16 & 24 bit is like claiming you have x-ray or infrared vision. The frequencies are there, this much is true. But the eyes don't see it, the ears don't hear it.
  6. "endless arguments over basic scientific principles that have been understood fully for over 50 years" gotta love science
  7. That video makes audiophiles laughable...
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akVlTUdukSU Why do I know this? Where's it from? no idea, just a random google image search MST 3000 Jack Frost
  9. Hah yeah people underestimate Snares versatility no doubt. gotta admit I actually think the one track you posted there is enjoyable. I tried some of his music but hated it. are there more VS ambient tunes? His only ambient album is My Downfall (Original Soundtrack). He has a few classical/Hungarian tracks on Rossz csillag alatt született that I fancy. I agree, some of his music is a bit too aggressive for my taste. Particularly his earlier stuff. However I do like his recent album Detrimentalist, because it's much more structured. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOZ0x7LtUok http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tz_d1jSY8Yg Don't forget about this beauty

  12. being able to hold the music you are playing, being able to witness the album art in its full twelve-by-twelve-inch size, the visceral experience of clicks and pops both separating you from and connecting you to the music, the experience of laying the needle on the vinyl, etc edit: and scratching the record up and pretending you're a DJ great answer
