After multiple listens I'd say it's good but not great. Hope to see some of his soundcloud tunes out soon.

For sure, but he sounds like The Tuss and Analord if The Tuss and Analord were good. That's a good point, this is as good as those, so just enjoy. Hope Monolith develops his sound to something else in the future.

I don't listen to much Jazz but Jason Moran - Ten, released last year was great. I'll check out some of the stuff mentioned here, there's just too much music :D at least now I know where to start.

If this was released on Warp, it probably would have had a lot more attention than it has. This album's great, I can't count the number of times I have listened to it so I think the reason why it is not on most top 2010 lists is because of poor marketing. -
