  1. Blimey, 11 years ago, and they've only released 1 album since ?
  2. Of course sampled by the bros at the end of EYDIAB
  3. Polypores first up this afternoon. I'm there, thought Simon James was outstanding on day one, but not to take anything away from Warrington-Runcorn and Concretism who were both excellent too..
  4. Bandcamp digitals £1 + vat Treat Em Right (Boards Of Canada Remix) | Nevermen (bandcamp.com)
  5. I'm not loving the new look. Green overalls not very chic..
  6. Bleep have it on pre-order, including their own exclusive. Still expensive but may save a bit on shipping.. https://bleep.com/release/210009-pye-corner-audio-black-mill-tapes-10th-anniversary-box
  7. Wow. Underwhelmed to say the least, and glad I didn't choose between this and putting food in my mouth. The poster's ok, a tenner plus postage would have been about right.. Oh, and hand numbered means someone has written on the back in pencil (36/100)... Freebies; a couple of Warp stickers, not even BoC. Same two as the VHS Head vinyl..
  8. Shockingly expensive for a piece of artwork. Anyway, I've ordered mine and wait for any freebies I may get with it...! C'mon, it's Christmas..
  9. Nope. Nothing in the vinyl, cd or packaging of either. £50 spent with bleep and false promises. I'll send an email but i'd imagine nothing will happen. Quality album though.
  10. Postman's been.......Everything in one package Photos to follow!!!!
  11. I'll laugh if Sainsbury's deliver before Bleep. I can't remember who on here ordered from there though. Twas me. And no it hasn't arrived.
  12. In true fanboy style, i ordered the vinyl and art card cd version off bleep, but also ordered the standard cd off Sainsbury's when i saw it was £7.99 including shipping. Anyway, just received an email off them to say it had been shipped
  13. For those interested, Mojo gave the new LP 4 out of 5 stars in this months issue, out today. I won't bother with the bullshit in between, but starts with "The kings of ethereal analogue electronica fashion glorious return", and ends with "Tomorrow's Harvest may be seasoned with Eno and Tangerine Dream, but in truth, Boards of Canada are peerless".
  14. I'm thinking the overall influence came more from The Andromeda Strain; one of the bro's favourite films, obvious hexagon connections, 70's sci-fi set initially in a barren deserted desert town and an early electronic soundtrack (worth checking out btw).
  15. That exact moment made me like it more than The Campfire Headphase.
  16. Didn't that came with a kaleidoscope? Nah, I got fuckall with mine (day of release here as well). Got the postcards and sticker set with my Geo vinyl from warp. Kaleidoscope was bought seperate, about £20 if i remember rightly.
  17. Although not a remix, don't forget the influence BoC had on The Sexual Objects track Here Come The Rubber Cops, which they produced. If you haven't heard it, try, it's very good (to these ears), and full of BoCisms near the end. Rumours were they were producing a full album for them, which presumably nothing came of.
