  1. Tragically, I can only help you with three. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4sP-tIU58k - Ahahahaha, I'm so full of ideas The "Find a passing spaceship" sample is the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy radio play, although i can't find the exact location of that sample right now within it. and the "tomorrow together" sample comes from a national geographic Flexi-disc (unfortunately I can't link videos to skip them in, go to 5m18s into it and you'll find it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzvO4Pbvu88&t=5m18s
  2. I AM THE KING OF THE LUKE VIBERT BOARD. FEAR NOT, PEON, THESE THINGS WILL NOT GO UNREPAIRED IN MY PRESENCE. (characters to get past all caps)

  5. Holy shit Moss, that one's amazing. Vibert inspires me anew.
  6. (that was posted earlier but this one is the whole thing, and it's an astonishing piece of work in my opinion (not sure if this one's house)
  7. fishing from the watmm archives brings these two sources from an older sample thread QuickWideTrax Reciever http://dreamchimney.com/tracks/16176 this link's actually dead but apparently it's from a song called Party Down by a 70s band Talking Beaver
  8. Right, the previous one is actually a sample itself (though done in 1996, it may have been where Luke got it from.) But the original is this moogy piece
  9. WHY has nobody found this one? I don't even have Odelay; I just heard this in a pizza place just now. M.A.R.S. for the sample on Vibert's end, if you wonder.
  10. Yeah, we had the Babylon one earlier. Now for a more obvious Boomer sample. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twcK2T6aeXY
  11. Not my discovery (thanks to whosampled.com again). But Rendleshack should make it familiar, and I've ALWAYS wondered about this one. Link to 1:41 where it occurs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SfQHucV1nA
  12. I know that its used in "The Doo Bop Song" by Miles Davis and that it samples the opening notes of "Summer Madness" by Kool and the Gang, but I'm not sure if "Doo Bop" is it's origin. It's definitely used in "Lowride" by Autechre, but I'm not sure about Vibert. Nevermind, I found it. Ahmad Jamal - The Awakening. Good catch on Summer Madness and Doo-Bop though; I'd venture it's possible this recording was sampling from Doo-Bop as it's the same combination of samples. Care to pinpoint the times in the two songs, good sir?
  13. stop drinking the charles water I see new replies in here and I think SOMEBODY OTHER THAN ME HAS FOUND A SAMPLE but it's not to be.
  14. Could there be a more pointless post? And now for some Big Soup nostalgia. 00:18 - Gah, where is that from? I know somebody has used it. 00:41 - "Good evening, citizens of earth. Citizens of Earth, or any other planet in the solar system." 04:32 - "Professor, do you have any last minute instructions?" 04:57 - "Goodbye, and thanks to all of you." 14:05 - "Welcome space cadets. WELCOME TO THE MOON." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7GNJRb7e9k
