My buddy and I finally beat Skyrim's Mage's guild and Main quest with our pacifist character. Zero kills, and our favorite weapon was "none".

The new Rising Sun Systems album is ridiculously killer. Croissant With Stravinsky, I Was Born In A Valley Of Freaks, and Freebasin' For David Bohm are three of the best tracks.

Been turning on Sleepbot pretty frequently lately. Still one of the best ways to find out about awesome, obscure ambient music. They even have a built-in google search function for the current track. Bountiful good vibes from this corner of the internet. http://www.sleepbot.com/ambience/broadcast/

I read The Heart of Darkness for college English. A really interesting novel, albeit racist as fuck. I like the movie more, haha.

I recently bought a used 160gig iPod classic. It holds a lot of music, and I like the interface. Wish it was more customizable, but I never leave the "Artists" page anyways. A very, very solid piece of technology.

I finished Dune by Frank Herbert and it was stupidly ridiculously good. Way better than I hoped, and I had high hopes going into the book. Some of the best sci-fi I've read in a long time.

I watched Ip Man a few nights ago. Baller kung-fu movie, dramatic as all hell with insane combat and a really good plot. I loved every minute of it.
I also watched Dredd a few nights ago. Plot? Well, that doesn't really matter. There was a LOT of shooting and a LOT of really cheesy lines, and the action is ridiculous. Also a very enjoyable flick.

GTA Snap 64
In the settings you can switch the game to a 'do not disturb' mode, which stops phone calls, missions kicking in, etc. so you're free to just go off and explore. I've spent far more time doing photography than playing it 'properly'.Godammit - I hate GTA with a passion, but these visuals are sooo impressive, it kinda makes me want to play.

A friend of mine finished Dark Souls II for the xbox, so he lent me the disc. Whipped up a fake account for a free month of gold membership.
This game is so much fun. Except I'm completely lost as to where to go after beating The Duke's Dear Freja. Been pvping mostly in the meantime (but not very well, haha)

I decided to give The Binding of Isaac a try since I've had it for a while now. 4 hours of play and I killed Mom! I was surprised at how it wasn't unbelievably difficult compared to Spelunky and FTL. I got to Mom on my third try!
Now try to beat the next boss with the Blue Baby. You're given three soul hearts at the start and any heart upgrades just turn into another soul heart.
This game can suck out so much of your spare time. Fun as hell, though, for sure.

My recent discovery of James Booker may very well be legitimately lifechanging. This is by far one of my favorite piano pieces I've ever heard.

Yeah either way, just buy some used copies of the first three or four albums by The Orb and you have what you need. And still cheaper than this unnecessary compilation.

It's possible to lure him outside and shoot arrows at him while he moves up and down the staircase leading into the tower. The shield + strafing method does work, but I've never taken him all the way out with it.

Also my friends and I have been diggin' Galaxy Truckers quite a lot! Really fun once you get the hang of it. Hell, it's even fun before you get the hang of it. The instruction booklet is actually quite funny and straightforward.
