    Three days of backed-up turd unfurled majestically into the cool waters below; the break was clean & undemanding on the wipe. Bliss! I walk away thinking how lightly I'd gotten off the hook, whilst promising never to let this happen again through poor diet.

     

    Then I felt it - something wet trickling down the leg. Okay, so it's just a little excess moisture that'd been deployed, you know, to aid the release of those stubborn chocolate hostages. Turns out to be blood :wacko:

    Nope.. But I'll probably have to get that at some point.

     

    You can get a mac port of going if you download these files and follow the instructions in this vid:

     

     

    Doesn't seem too heavily involved to get it running

     

     

    It's actually just a faithful recreation of Vangelis made by someone else who did the soundtrack. But don't let that put you off, whoever it was did a good job on the music

    Yeah you can tell they're using digital synths rather than the instruments that Vangelis used, but I think (and this may well sound sacrilegious) I might actually prefer that version over the original.

     

    Heh I remember playing the game for the first time, immediately playing it back to back with the Vangelis version to hear the difference. I love the context of where that tune is used in the game; your character is in a contemplative mood

    Well you could possibly argue the effeminate part, but no that's not me at all! Anyway I knew what you were getting at there, Zeph :tongue:

     

    i can't remember the last time i woke up and felt ok about being awake.

     

    This one hits me in the feels every time I open the page

    Rake - aussie crime drama (i guess). Fairly generic premise of morally misguided, well meaning criminal defense lawyer - channeling a bit of McNulty. I'm usually resistant to Australian tv which i know is a stupid attitude but I actually find the characters to be nuanced and evolving enough to save this from being just another crime series shaking the morality stick. It also doesnt shy away from some of the glaring hypocrisies of Australian culture - it airs on ABC, which is our government funded/ non commercial station -and for the most part itleaves these topics (eg race riots, misogyny) open which I like . Ie. it never really 'passes judgement' by the end of it.

     

     

    Pretty ggood I would recommend.

     

    There's a new Australian drama out soon based on Julian Assange's story, could be okay
