I liked it but I wasn't overwhelmed. I don't know if he's ever going to surprise the world again, I mean he was groundbreaking for almost 2 decades but the last 5 years were kinda meh. I hope this is the turning point.

Funny you say this, cause he's a fan. Saw this image, from the magazine thing that came with the album, on the death grips subreddit. Think it lists his favourite albums or something.
not surprised he is a fan, there is a lot of attention to detail on Blonde that made me think of Aphex, but then again I always associate detail with Aphex...
