  1. Is this the one you're after https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCErJUzJA5g
  2. Maybe he threw it in as a clue, or he might've just liked the track.. soz
  3. Leyland has done some intriguing things and stuff.. worth checking out
  4. what is this track starting around the 1:15:20 timestamp, goes for a few minutes. Would've sounded mental live! Had some afx flavours in there, esp. towards the end
  5. The EP has some Tuss flavour, which I like, but zin2 test5 has a darker Analord feel which I miss from afx
  6. Sounding like there was a bunch of great unreleased gems played at the Rosendal gig, this one sounds epic - https://streamable.com/fnh00v Can't wait for some of these nuggets to be unleashed
  7. Cracked the code! Who would've thought that this would have the answers to all of our questions. Looks like he was corrupted in the process and mutated into a Jazz-funk guitarist
  8. Also this all depends on context and sometimes the story/moment you associate with a track. Here's a few other emo/ambient faves Locust - Moist Moss O.S.T. - YYY Popol Vuh - Aguirre I Fennesz - Rivers of Sand Brian Eno - An Ending Leyland Kirby - My Dream Contained A Star Kettel - America Video Less Than Zero John Foxx - Oceanic David Sylvian - Darkest Dreaming Lexaunculpt - Anburl 6 Prayer - Hesitate
  9. Coupla great Autechre tracks mentioned too.. I'll add this - altibzz Lynch/Badalamenti definitely have a few contenders - this one almost got me at the end of Twin Peaks
  10. Some great selections here, can't go past Aphex, got plenty of tracks that are chock full of emotion. A few sad faves off the top of my head Qu 1 Btoum-Roumada Kesson Dalek Rhubarb Orc. 19.53 Rev Reunion 2 s8v1 [brooklyn]
  11. I like Attempt 8... morphs between Alberto to BOC to a Burial track
  12. imagine.. we could still have another 50 years of Afx
  13. Isn't this just a bootleg press from CD/cass - the clips sound dodgy. The original Rephlex press only had 8 tracks
  14. Was his beef with the government control/new world order or the rona itself? I think he acknowledged in one of his comments that the virus was a real thing but he was against the way the government was handling it?
  15. Streetwise is an old fave about homeless kids in Seattle in the 80s. Just saw it's up on yt but if you have access to Criterion it'd be worth checking out there
  16. I had a quick listen to the EP-rip and then burnt it straight away so I could revirginise my ears for the hi quality version when it drops.. Also from what I remember i think the beatwork in a few of the tracks sounded similar to DJ Hvad (and jlin). It may have been his take on that style, with a heavy dose of afx flavour
  17. i've heard that afx doesn't perform at festivals.. he just gives Skrillex the windowlicker masks and lets him play for him
