  1. The lack of substantial improvements made me feel okay about my recent purchase of the first gen. The new one looks cool and probably feels great, but they're still mostly the same machine.
  2. 38 ...well shit. Edit: Even going back and trying to be conservative about my answers, I still end up with a 36.
  3. I get the error as well on both Chrome and Firefox.
  4. I feel like we've talked about theory a lot in the past, but I do enjoy a good theory discussion. However, I think most of the stuff I would say has already been said. I'll be back later perhaps.
  5. Holy shit! I forgot this game even existed. My cousins used to have it and we'd play it at their place. Craaaaaazy.
  6. Yes! I've actually got a "U.N. Owen Was Her?" remix that's been collecting dust for a while.
  7. There's a playlist out there of the tracks from this game. The music kicks ass. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7p40hKjbGY&feature=results_main&playnext=1&list=PL661A11D31F39D470
  8. I love Don Bluth. Secret of Nimh is up there with those as well.
  9. Also, badass. I love this movie. I'm gonna check this out.
  10. I played a show a while back where all of the bands played along to videos they had created or were mashing up with their music. One of the bands did some crazy trippy ambient scoring for this. Nearly lost my mind.
  11. everybody check out a few Futureimage albums at juno.com, some of the finest music i have ever heard using monomachines and machinedrums Damn. No joke. You've got some sick stuff, futureimage. This thread makes me wish I had money.
  12. Yeah! Kick ass remix compilation!
  13. Hey thanks man. I appreciate it. New record should be done pretty soon.
  14. Nice! I'm really impressed. Perhaps you could PM me a little about how you managed to get into that kind of work? Making music for games and documentaries is my dream.
  15. Oh wow, you made the music for Eufloria? Badass! Great job man. Always neat to see when a watmmer's involved in something rad.
  16. That was probably me. Ape Escape is my favorite game. This song is actually my ringer for my cell phone right now.
  17. I got mine at Oat Willie's here in Austin (the south location to be specific) for something like $15-$20. It was actually made in India. Oat Willie's is a local Austin head shop chain.
  18. Yeah, it's a crappy poor man's attempt. There are some larger, more dense ones behind the tapestry and also behind the tapestry on the opposite wall. They help a little, and every little bit counts in this shitty apartment. Ha ha, thanks. It was the coolest design I could find after looking around. Oms are nifty.
  19. Oh hey, I guess I haven't posted mine. Here's my current setup: Renoise 3Ghz quad-core, 64-bit, 4GB RAM, custom built computer PreSonus Firebox interface M-Audio DX4 monitors (soon to be upgraded, hopefully) Grado SR-60 headphones Akai APC40 Novation ReMote 49SL Compact MIDI keyboard M-Audio Trigger Finger drum pad controller Also in this photo are FL Studio, which I ended up using in conjunction with Renoise on this particular song (a rare occasion), my microKORG, which I don't use very much, and my sub, which I can't use in my new apartment. Not pictured is my Fender American Select Stratocaster. This is not the best example of the recent stuff made here, but it's the only one that's not on lockdown due to being part of an unreleased album. It's made entirely from one sample of a skylark singing. You best have a good sub. http://soundcloud.com/wahrk/skylark
