hey if you click that link you just posted it will take you to a soundcloud page run by none other than aphex twin himself believe it or not he's been uploading unreleased tracks there, check it out have you ever heard of this guy called aphex twin? he makes nice musics, sometimes with acid you can play those tracks by pressing the big orange play buttons. after clicking the play buttons you can hear music if you have any speakers or headphones plugged in Yes, but where is, chronologically, the title "5 Mp2" of this page soundcloud??? Someone can help me? i dont have a file with that name. you sure its afx? That one got renamed to 5. 36 clissold crescent [above the kitchen]

If you switch back and forth between 31 Lifetrak2 EqTeac 1 and last clissold it's easy to notice its been remastered or something, the bassline is more up front and the drums are less tinny, the whole thing is a bit louder and more engaging or surrounding (i'm on headphones)

yeah idk whats different. maybe the new intro is rich giving us his thoughts on what happened with the soundclogs. All I can make out so far from the intro is something about Cinderella and "she'll never get her dress ready in time for the ball"

Read a few pages back, Fredd-E 'unmasked' the person behind the YT-channel. It's not CC. The user on here who started this video thing in this thread is the guy behind the channel (big shock). The videos have nothing to do with Aphex, nothing that remotely links to him or anything. It's just random footage to troll (OMG, random numbers, this means something!) The 2 live videos are most likely sourced from other channels (look in the comment section of one of the two videos). Yes those comments are weird - i'm not too versed in how youtube stuff works, is there a way to import a video with old comments into a new account so that it seems like its been there the whole time? What's up with the comment that says "how did you get this" - if it is sourced comments and all from somewhere else official lets say, why would they ask where he got it ... i am losing my grasp on how exactly this would play out in terms of how the perpetrator could do it if he only started on it lately, but makes it look like he's had the videos for 3 years-- but again, not sure how youtube linking and sourcing can be manipulated to do it so maybe its easy

Also if he jumped on the account and started making videos for this hoax right away, how did he know Rich wouldn't be back right away under a different account Maybe he has a viral media campaign go bag always at the ready for times like this

It's overexposed film, CC regularly splices mistakes and outtakes between shots for stylish synchronization. You can find it in the Windowlicker video. it appears that your browser isnt reloading the animations. they just continue to loop in my browser. i get a slight skip when the animations starts over so maybe you are having issues with flash... dont think anything is out of the ordinary tho I understand that but eventually if you wait until they all stop looping it ends up like this - also this orange thing happens every time it loops

On a weird side note, at www.chriscunningham.com the collage of videos has a whole strip dedicated to windowlicker clips, but every time it rotates it flashes the whole section to these orange graphics (i posted a screencap below) - when they eventually all stop playing it freezes like that (just like it is below) All the other videos stay how they are but the windowlicker afx section goes completely orange/stripes making it stand out completely from the rest of the collage - I have no idea if it was always like this

Most 128kbps mp3s are indistinguishable from 320kbps, if you run into one with noticeable artifacts you can always skip it iTunes used to sell their tracks at this bitrate not long ago, and encoding these days is even better But I know what you mean, mentally it doesn't feel as good, just trying to comfort the casualties 128 and 320 is a BIG difference... True it can be but not in every case, for the majority of tracks it would be very difficult to tell under normal circumstances Even though the number is almost 3 times bigger the quality is not 3 times better, but certain artifacts would go away, with 320 you just don't have to really worry anymore I'm still swear by flac whenever possible and I'm equally if not more disappointed in the bitrate but like I said, just trying to put a positive spin :) Maybe I'm just trying to comfort myself at this point as it all comes crashing down

However, the only other irrefutable fact we have is that RDJ literally commented on 2 brainwaltzera tracks, one of which was the not-CCAI one, on which he said "Ace production" (wouldn't he just have been like "quit ripping me off"?) - i imagine AFX has a good pair of ears so the production can't be "all in the box". He even requested a download for the other one. i think the only other person/account whose tracks he's actually commented on is Somadril (correct me if I'm wrong), who we also know is not RDJ btw. The above plus today's legit user account number change (what are the odds of those four numbers in a row?) -not to mention some of those tracks are v. good (especially the older ones)- lead me to think the dude(s)' in on it It's still the same number sequence from the beginning i think user0000008673 used to be just brainwaltzera Once RDJ became user4873635301 (which he switched to user48736353001 months ago by adding the 0),brainwaltzera changed to user0000008673 and stayed that way I'm sure he had that number from the beginning (also i named some of those mp3s user 0000008673 from early on). We did some heavy investigating back in February and it seemed like https://soundcloud.com/ogieand were somehow involved The brainwaltzera account has a ton of greek letters/writing, or as ogie himself commented on one track "macedonian" which fits with his profile I downloaded a bunch of the brainwaltzera tracks early on and their actual names were very different, suggesting repurposed tracks for the hoax, one of them ("leesa waar") had "mis-bit" as the artist name and "mis-bit music" as the genre or something One one of the tracks with Mad@nn@ in the title had a comment where ogie said "u r 2 mis-bit :)" which is extra suspicious because after i mentioned it on watmm he took the comment down It looked like maybe multiple people got their tracks together to get this going The art style is not very afx There's a lot of cheesy sounding percussion here and there If afx made a track called "Ten Ton Fenix" it would probably get its own vinyl release and maybe a video The comments are not very aphexy The april 14 track is just a cindi lauper song slowed down to an hour, try it yourself (time after time), doubtful afx would do this Also brainwaltzera had given up for a while pretending to be afx and started pretending to be u-Ziq, and now can't seem to decide-- he used to post after AFX posted, then he switched to following u-ziq and now he does it with AFX again The tone of the writing is very different between the accounts, from track titles to comments Compare these two comments on the same subject, different writing styles, concerning sounding like boards of Canada: Brainwaltzera: dont fink i had heard of em yet when i did this but i def see where ur coming from afx: id never heard of them when i made this, ha again, hadnt heard of them when i made this, I think when I did it put me off doing these kinda tracks actually, not knocking BOC either, love a lot of their music Brainwaltera is saying "fink" every two seconds, not Rich The various comments from Rich have better vocab, grammar and spelling in general compared to brainwaltzera - brainwaltz comments seem like maybe english was not their first language I don't think afx would ever call anything "brainwaltzera" himself too cheezy Richard has hardly used a single greek letter and brainwaltzera was pretty much bleeding greek lettering for a while When you really think about it the track names are nothing like the ones on the confirmed account I could go on and on, but if Richard or Mike were secretly involved I think it would be a little more of a refined production, better track choices ,names, comments, more elaborate hoaxing and trolling, etc Sorry about the stream of consciousness debunking but i'm trying to remember all my thoughts on this

HA! I second the dog walking soundtrack thang. My pup has benefitted from the SC dump more than I have. Longer walks and more dumps for him everyday for a month now while I loose myself in the music.
