  1. I like most of Cheetah, but the first and last tracks drag on and sound too repetitive to my ears. I just fell asleep listening to track 7. Maybe I need more iron in my diet.
  2. What People Think of America Around the World https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCap6I9MlOw how do you embed video in posts? anyway, cool to hear people's impressions of the usa
  3. Not sure what survey platform you're using, but I like Qualtrics. Clean interface, easy to use. Not sure if new tracks can be added dynamically from soundcloud though.
  4. I recently watched Hunter x Hunter, all 148 episodes. Great characters and crazy fight sequences throughout the series. Highly recommended! Favorite stories were about the phantom troupe. :)
  5. the 5 missing tracks are 22 Pearls X - Rays Sams Car 21 Hapshifter1 11 Early Morning Clissold hope he includes them * ok he just added them. noice!
  6. wow, just saw the announcement about making the tracks downloadable next week! would be funny if he made them 128 kbps
  7. track after track after track. oh my god. now i have to catch up on funnel, Phlangebeat, twister and phuqed up!!! and I'll be late to work again. fantastic times!
  8. I'm embarrassed to say I actually paid money to see American Sniper over the weekend. From what I had heard, It sounded like a slick propaganda piece, and sure enough it was! So much rah rah American jingoist bullshit. On top of that, the movie itself was dull. Boring acting, shit direction, just mediocre in every way. Simplistic as hell view of the Iraq war (black vs white, good vs. evil). The guy the story was based on was full of shit. Of course audiences are eating it up. Weird how at the end there was no music as the credits rolled. So you had people shuffling awkwardly out of the theater. Just a weird, shitty experience being in a crowd full of people who actually liked the film and believed in all of its imperialist lies.

  10. lol! l have no problems with weirdo giants eating people, but this is some f*cked up sh*t. i'm so far behind on aphex videos. just now watching the full version of windowlicker but yeah, I'd say Attack on Titan and Death Note are two of my favorite animes. must find anime thread in gen ban!
  11. first time seeing this. ermahgerd, creepiest thing ever! a video with Syro would be the tits, but I'd be happy with just the music
  12. Looking forward to Velocity 2X next week on PS4. The developer seems to have confidence in it, he thinks it will be a contender for Game of the Year. We shall see! Looks fun.
  13. Looks like there's been an uptick in pledges in these last hours of the drive. To get more pledges before kickstarter ends, seems like now would be a great time for a well-placed article(s) in the usual outlets. Maybe Joyrex could give a short interview, remind people time's running out!
  14. It's unlikely they'd have the extra hands on staff to be doing that - besides, it will be just the record spinning on some very high-end equipment, I imagine - not terribly exciting, IMO. Maybe that Taiwanese outfit that does the CGI reenactments for news events could do one? Not terribly exciting? Let me tell you something, it the best thing ever! lol. Ok I guess I have no life, but I like watching records spin on a turntable. A shot like this would be cool and easy to set up:
  15. I like the video idea, but I agree with making the whole process at simple as possible. Unfortunately it appears the studio doesn't allow anyone present during the recording session. Maybe its feasible for the studio to use a camcorder to get us some video of the rip, at least.
  16. Interesting idea. I'd love to have a vinyl copy. Any idea of the cost to press, say, 2000?
  17. hah interesting story. was just listening to some pan sonic, they're ok i guess. but I'd hate it if someone accidentally damaged my gear and not give a shit yeah I can't help but ask about early boc material. there's only 3 recordings of their shows (warp 10th anniv, warp lighthouse party, atp 2001). know of any other recordings floating out there?
  18. 1) if you were touring through the u.s. and were asked to appear on a show like conan o’brien or jimmy fallon, would you do it? 2) do you have a recording of this show and/or any memories of what this show was like? 3) warp’s 25th anniversary is next year. know if you’ll participate in any special events, like contribute to a warp25 box set or perform at an event? know if they have big plans? 4) on Osla for n at 3:57 onwards, I keep thinking of 61E.CR, like how it (osla for n) has a similar beat but slowed down somewhat and also similar sounds. would you agree there are some similarities there? loving l-event btw 5) an oversteps soundboard would be amazing to hear (and download for pay) one day thanks for everything
  19. thanks for answering all these questions! this is great. I'm curious, have you heard boc's early works like acid memories, hooper bay & play by numbers? I read somewhere once, that soon after you first listened to 'twoism', you contacted them, which eventually led to them recording 'hi scores' for skam. so I thought maybe you've heard some of their earlier recordings. If you have heard them, what did you think?
  20. have you guys ever considered producing a whole album devoted to hip-hop, with various guest MCs? would love to hear krs-one, kool keith and others like that rap over autechre beats!
