  1. You actually have a worse first-world problem: nobody believes that any girl would ever hit on you.
  2. You did. I seriously have no idea what Rephlex vinyl looked like!
  3. I'll take your word for it, Fred. I went online and looked up some vinyls from Rephlex's past and didn't get the Chillwave vibe, but I own no Rephlex vinyl so I can't really say...
  4. it's more a continuation of the decades-old Rephlex lo-def aesthetic which probably planted the seeds for said chillwave artwork And you know this because Grant told you about it?
  5. Nice to see Rephlex jumping on the Chillwave Artwork Bandwagon
  6. You all should try a friendly round of Diplomacy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diplomacy_%28game%29

  8. Really? I found that release to be a letdown, even though he was predicting dubstep wobble back then...
  9. My house is worth considerably less now than it was when I purchased it.
  10. mcbpete- I've an HTC Evo. My snesoid is running choppy. It didn't at first, but performance has degraded. Can you think of ways to fix this?
  11. It's still fun to pretend you are killing processes.
  12. Thank you, Thank you...and for my next act I'll probably just disappear!

  13. My dream is right here ^^^^^ WI is pretty close to IL.
  14. So long, Wakey Poo!

  15. monkey keeps looking at me!!!!

  16. I remember "Sheet One" VERY fondly. This album was my introduction to proper acid mid-way through the 90's. Though it's seldom (if ever) mentioned in this short-sited web forum, Hawtin is one of the most important progenitors of acid. While Chicago producers may get credit for recording random 16-step patterns and lazily turning some knobs, Hawtin was the first (that I'm aware of) producer to really rinse the 303, including championing the Devilfish modification. Despite all this, I tuned him out out back around 1997 when his world tour started. I found his Concept series to be a bit droll, and I consider everything after that unlistenable. I can't fathom paying a small fortune for (OH MY GOD!) re-mastered tracks that can be had for dimes and unreleased B- and (more likely) C-sides...
  17. I think the Roland tb-303 is played out.
  18. Don't let the plastikman tattoo on my back fool you: I haven't paid money for this man's music since 1996.
