  1. Acid Mothers Temple & Melting Paraiso UFO - La Nòvia from the album of the same name.
  2. Acid Mothers Temple have some pretty sweet albums; at times droney, at others, insanely crushing waves of heavy psych.. they're from Japan. I'm currently immersing myself in Japanese psychedelic rock, there's this last.fm group "psychedelic Japan"...
  3. I decided awhile ago that I wouldn't listen to Oversteps again until it arrived in the mail. Should be here later today or at some point tomorrow. Now listening to Music for 18 Musicians by Steve Reich and it's reminding me of parts of Oversteps..just how its so minimal and yet rich with emotions and feeling.
  4. can we get this thread to 285 pages by the time the official release day(s) are past?
  5. Luomo - Tessio. Did you know Luomo is the same dude as Vladislav Delay? Crazy, eh?
  6. Oi! Evan. Help me prioritize the order of certain albums to buy next time we chat!

  7. hey! how were they, if you've heard them yet?

  8. I would be beyond happy if could see Ae and Juan Atkins do a show together.
  9. k I was wrong about the chronology but it's still from a good transitional period
  10. It's not really my favourite, but I have to give major respects to it because of how it came between LP5 and Confield.. and all three of those albums are solid as hell.
  11. Drive Like Jehu - Sinews. How does one add a poll to a new thread. Please help, I have an idea for a thread that will make you either or ; but is worthy of being posted nevertheless.
  12. btw, I added you to my MSN contact list.

  13. you lucky bastard! seeing Ae in England and getting a real copy of Oversteps one or two days before your birthday!

  14. I honestly think Oversteps is their best since Untilted. Some would even say best since Draft.
  15. This album is brilliant! and it flows together.. remarkably well.
  16. Already, I can safely say that I like this way more than Quaristice!
  17. come on guys, we are apparently trying to make this thread reach 300 pages by the end of today
  18. btw, I know people will facepalm at my gushing and I probably deserve it too
  19. Somehow, this is blowing my mind more than when I heard the leak. Part of it may be that I am listening and using the same visualiser I used when I first listened to Quaristice! :emotawesomepm9: :emotawesomepm9: :emotawesomepm9: FUCK YEAH AUTECHRE
  20. What a great day! First I buy Envane used for only 7.99 plus tax and then I come home to find I'm allowed to download my Oversteps! It sure makes March 23rd seem a whole hell of a lot sooner!
  21. I love Stars of the Lid! Brian Eno also has some good stuff, particularly Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks, though my fave Eno song is 2/2 from Music for Airports. William Basinski is a great ambient composer and who among us hasn't gone to sleep while listening to The Disintegration Loops? Loscil is cool too, but a bit more relaxing than sleepytime music, not that Basinski is only good for "lullabyes".
