  1. (And of course the final season of GOT is a epic failure and BB is a triumph)
  2. The funny thing is once you start getting over half way you will wish there was more! There's only one dull episode (the fly in the lab) so it's no chore to watch so it doesn't feel like a commitment. I don't actually watch that much tv and I zoomed through BB both times without breaking into a sweat over it. Whereas if I had to rewatch GOT I'd think it would be very hard work as if I remember correctly there were plenty of dull episodes, even some seasons were hard work (the ones with High Sparrow and when Arya is learning to be an assassin in that temple thing).
  3. I also rewatched Breaking Bad not so long ago, and indeed it is incredible. However Better Call Saul, could be even better. It's perhaps not obvious at the time but on reflection I think it might take the crown.
  4. Strange that I'm not a huge fan of Can but Future Days is one of my favourite ever tracks.
  5. Yeah I've heard from many sources that TD4 isn't much good.
  6. Did 6 episodes of The Americans, found it utterly boring and slow. I think if you watch 6 hours of something and you are forcing yourself to keep going its best to quit. It has extremely high ratings and maybe season 3 and 4 are really good but hey ho. Friend recommended Slow Horses on Apple+ and I've had more fun watching 10 minutes of that than I did in 6 hours of The Americans. First episode was brilliant. Looking forward to the rest. Excellent story, acting and cast and moves at pace with not a hint of dullness.
  7. Hmmm. Sometimes I regret going OTT, especially when I go drunk 'full moon' Dead Geoff and somebody is on the receiving end of it (check out the Eurovision Song Contest thread....) hopefully by now folk just take it with a pinch of salt. However I stopped writing about Giant Wood Goblins, Fish Beast Man, The Great Gwarnukoo, Goat Skull Clan and Magic Tree Apes and other assorted characters. Maybe I will bring them back.
  8. Not sure if I've said this before but I do enjoy your enthusiasm for all things Braindance Mr Pirtek
  9. I'm genuinely super excited for this! To be honest Wendorlan has incredibly impressed me and it I haven't looked forward to a new album like this for what seems like years. God if the rest of the album is as good as that then my brain won't be dancing it will be blown into smithereens. With a bazooka!
  10. I did it a few months ago. If you have Spotify on desktop it will show the number of plays of every track for every artist. Use that as a guide to the most popular tracks on each album and you can't go too wrong. Some obscure albums and tracks have surprisingly quite a few thousand plays so he obviously has a small but dedicated group of followers who listen to each release and find the good ones. There are indeed some really top tunes buried in his back catalogue. I actually enjoyed the process but I wouldn't have bothered if I didn't have Spotify to help me.
  11. I haven't even played this yet. I just can't be arsed.
  12. Maybe ask twoism as there are some super sleuths on there
  13. Yes agree that the track feels like motion sickness. Cool trick
  14. I've always been surprised that albums get put up on Spotify on day of release.

    The Tuss

Gak is also up on Spotify...
  16. Agree with Lord Of The Ooze. Just played this track after a few weeks rest. It's fucking crazy! It's easy peasy a 9/10 track. Without even breaking into a sweat mate!
  17. Morning/Evening is a classic (imo)
  18. Hopefully they put a rocket up his ass (ha thats not a sexual reference!) and kicked him into gear a bit. Four Tet can play it very safe. Having said that Fred Again ain't exacty Death Grips is he. I have no idea what Skrillex is up to nowadays. Not that I ever did.
  19. Always listen to new Four Tet. Agree he is hit and miss and sometimes a bit too middle of the road, but he does know how to put a tune together. March is a good time to him to release as his music definitely has a Springtime vibe going on. Looking forward to this.
  20. I agree it's a strange track. I remember quite vividly when it came on the live stream, the fact I remember myself reacting to it (having a knee jerk reaction, ears pricking up and thinking hmmm what's this all about) all these years later probably says a lot. I do remember then, and still now feeling relief when the cooling synth whooshes come in during the second half. Yeah weird tune, but I like it.
  21. I'm currently in TV purgatory. I cancelled my Amazon Prime subscription as I've wanged a bit of cash on my credit card for some essential fishing gear and need to clear that asap, they of course in turn then cancelled my cheap Paramount+ subscription which I got through Amazon. So Deadwood remains unfinished, which sucks, but I'll go back and finish it when I have time to wang out all 3 seasons in a month which will be hopefully soon. I've been looking for something that's free (or relatively cheap) to watch and found Americans on Channel 4 (My4) which is a couple of quid a month for advert free. So far only watched a few episodes.
  22. I don't think I finished all seasons. It was an okay watch, though certainly nothing special.
