  1. Nice, love how smooth the bass and kick sit together.
  2. Looks interesting for sure, especially since it can do polyphonic melodic playback. But the punch-in effects seem to be one of the main selling points and I don't really care for those. Not sure if the Sonicware Smpltrek wouldn't be nicer for me. Lots of nice samplers coming out suddenly, I remember not too long ago a Korg Microsampler was basically the only option if you wanted melodic sampling (in hardware)..
  3. Ohh neat, thanks. I had no idea about these Mayan flutes.
  4. Does anyone know exactly what kind of flute(s) he uses?
  5. Once again very pretty. Great tune as well. Got that cheerful yet melancholy IDM spirit.
  6. Cool tracks. Some especially nice breaks in Hyperobject.
  7. Thanks for having a listen!
  8. Yeah just the saturday though, so no Stereolab for me. Always a great festival with nice atmosphere and music though, been there a few times.
  9. Yes you can filter by date here https://www.rewirefestival.nl/line/up/2024 (edit: such as The Necks on friday which I just saw in Utrecht this weekend and who were great)

  12. Yes! And OPN sunday on the same festival.
  13. Nice. First thing I really read from them since AAA I guess. Similar feel.
  14. Hmm, but at the end of the day a synth is just an instrument with a certain sound. At some point you know how to play keys and you know how subtractive synthesis works, I don't think it's illegitimate to have 10 synths and switch between them based on the sound you want even if that means you only play them 1/10th of the time compared to if you had only 1.
  15. Thanks! Another one:
  16. Reminds me of this guy who says there are 4 enthusiasts for everything:
  17. I do almost everything on a tascam 8-track these days, I like the immediacy and realtime-ness but having more tracks also gives you the freedom to record things separately for later mixing, overdubbing, fx, submixes etc.. It's a bit of a hassle but for me it's worth it, I'm actually more productive with it I think. I could live with 4 tracks if I had a separate recorder to do the final mix to. Back when I only had a (digital) 2-track recorder I didn't really manage to make much finished tracks with it though.
  18. Thanks, always gotta be on the lookout for some oldschool software.
