I still use my 4th gen ipod, but soon will be using my Note 4 as a portable media device. I got a Cowon X7 a few years back, and it sounds so great, but I never use it because the interface is shit, even after trying other interfaces.

Just want to say a big thank you to Sean and Rob for making themselves available for this! So very cool! I've been a fan since '96, and I still look forward to every new release. Managed to catch ya'll live in Austin in '01, but if you put on a Houston show, I'll catch you there as well... Question - prolly been asked, but I haven't made it through the whole thread as of yet...Do you have any plans for an audiovisual release, akin to Animal Collective's Oddsac? Tangentially related, I recall a video installation website (Rutterford?) from about two-three years ago that featured some music that certainly sounded like your work, but perhaps an alternate take or remix. Any details on this track/video?

26 Never really knew much about autism. I do have a fascination with dates and their relationship to specific memories, or events. Its a way to "lock" in the memories of my life. I hate when I can't recall the exact time something happened. Feels like a part of me is lost. I like to distinguish different things into categories as well. Its a nice feeling when I can relate one thing to another in my head. I guess its like a new way to look at something, so by proxy, a new way to look at my world.

Ancient Methods is great. For stuff in the same vein, look to the Ugandan Speed Trials record and the Ugandan Methods release (Ancient Methods collaboration with the folks behind Ugandan Speed Trials.) Tommy Four Seven's new one, Primate, is also not to be missed. Kicks like you wouldn't believe!

Got my japanese Oversteps today! Fucking terrific sound! It has an insert booklet that folds out to a flyer-sized one-sheet. Can't read japanese, but it seems to have some sort of discussion about their work, with references to Quaristice. The outside had a sticker promoting a june show in Japan with Juan Atkins. I will say that the bonus track feels exactly like a bonus track, not essential. It kinda needed a couple minutes more to develop. It might even be a snippet/version of another track, maybe?
