  1. Don't usually listen to hip hop, but reviewed an album of it for a local music mag recently. The album can be downloaded / streamed for free HERE, would really like some hip-hop fans opinions to see how they match up to my review (will post the link when it gets published). Some other stuff on that bandcamp page too if you like it, all crews from Oxford and London if you want to listen to current UK styles. Basically, I liked some of it, but as it sounds more of a compilation album rather than an artist album to me... and I really don't get all the f%*kin c%^&t d&^%k swearing and derogatory comments, totally not needed.
  2. I totally get this. I am sure autechre have mastered the arts of self-generative .wav files, listened to disc 1 last night and at least 4 of the tracks sounded completely different from how I remember them. Are they witches? Can we burn them?

6 more quid will buy you a Snare Rush mix (RDJ Album reference)

  4. Looked like stickers to me, but promo cards will be cool, a slight bonus for ordering from Bleep I guess. *exaited again*
  5. Itching for the vinyl. Not listened to Exai since last Thursday, trying not to overload. Will probably get the older albums back on rotation soon and try and figure out exactly where Exai sits amongst them.
  6. I really enjoy Filth, its fairly brutal and I like the acid tones throughout. "My so called Life" does have some great moments. I have enjoyed his EP output over the past few years, Horsey Noises, Cubist Reggae, Fool the Detector and Affectionate have all been really strong releases and despite being "slower", full of interesting compositions and fresh ideas. New stuff please
  7. Current loving first 4 tracks of CD2. Not learn't track names yet.
  8. Much better than the wire review. You should get a promo from Warp next time. edit PS its 303oclockkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
  9. it definitely sounds better / different in my Car, crappy speakers ftw
  10. Can't get over Irlite (get 0). Simply stunning, the way the bass cuts through the drum hits then the synth builds... its all gets all noisy then bam... breakdown and rebuild. Love it. 'painfully obvious and devastatingly subtle' 100%
  11. Ripped Exai to CD for today's car journey for work. Meeting got cancelled, Exai CD's sat in the car all day, unplayed. FML.
  12. Going for the "blasting out fucking loud in the darkness" listening experience tonight.
  13. Diving through the outer atmosphere of a distant moon, to reveal a waterworld of swamp islands and long dead alien civilisations. Eerie as fuck.
  14. Eh... Pffff where's your Modesty, gentleman. Prostitute Monkey
  15. ok had my initial listen, way too much to digest. Not going to listen again tonight, just burnt to CD for My long drive tomorrow. Great album.
  16. I GIVE A SHIT CANNOT DOWNLOAD COMPLAINING AND THE QUOTE SYSTEM IS STILL BORKED.
  17. I have honestly not pirated any music in at least 9 years. But, I am completely tempted at this point. Bleep is doing my head in, and I hate the fact that I could be listening to Exai now rather than sitting in silence.
  18. So hang on, we still have only read like 1 blog review from people who were sent promo's. And now the album is available to download. Great work. Note: still cannot connect to Bleep :(
