We Are The Music Makers | Volume Two (PLANNING & DISCUSSION)
Soloman Tump replied to Joyrex's topic in EKT General Discussion
Is there a theme / genre in mind? Do we have to make IDM(TM) -
Yeah from first impressions its a mix of CGI and makeup / stick on wings and horns which is good. Didn't realise Orlando Bloom was in it, he's not too annoying (yet)

Taken from today's LittleBig mailout: edit: https://clark.bandcamp.com/album/branding-problem After personally not feeling the Kiri release, I am excited for this.

Carnival Row? I watched the first episode, its basically the Syrian war with irish fairy refugees. Bit weird, but I think I will stick with it. Possibly a bit too faux political

I can't be the only one who read the description as an orgasmic drum machine. Does indeed look beyond decent. ? Estimated 1500 euro's plus vat... hmmm... might be out of my budget for a while (unless I sell pretty much everything i've got) hnnng I have gas for this

I got a blackstar ht reverb off eBay Sounds lush. Now I just want to drench everything in sweet warmth

He is rather good at saying what he thinks people want to hear, rather than what he actually believes. I honestly have no idea what his Brexit policy is right now. And he is great at shooting down Tory policies without enlightening us clearly on his own. I don't trust him.

The fact mix from August is rather lush. I need to get on this, but I'm trying to restrict my music budget. Got the £70 Underworld Drift boxed set coming next month.....

^ Agreed. The vast majority of the politicians have failed us, for various reasons. Left just as bad as the right. Rabid pro-labour folks on here will be spitting feathers at that, but take a step back and look at the party you support from a neutral point of view. Absolute shambles, same as the Tory's.

I got the SKIN ep on the back of the last round of hype and thought it was OK but not as mind blowing as I was led to believe it would be. Happy to try out some new work though.

They send you the actual master TAPE. You cut it into "X" pieces and each CD is bundled with a piece of the tape. Cool nostalgic gift. I tied up a few of my zines with tape from a cassette of mine. -
Actually just been playing with the audacity built in reverb and its not bad actually. Will experiment.

Been looking at the Earthquaker Afterneath, even 2nd hand they fetch good money. Just noticed there is a eurorack version coming soon..
