Yeah of course haha that's why I said it wasn't satisfying ;) Been listening once again to session #3 this afternoon and it's really mind bending BUT I can't get into the fly and air tracks. I like the fact that everything hasn't clicked yet and that I feel challenged by the music :)

Re: track names, I'm thinking that the recurring names might refer to specific modules they're using within their maxMSP environment. The "air" could be a good example of that. Hell they might even have designed a specific module to spit track names according to which other modules they're using for the track...

I finally found what was bugging me in splesh : the bassline starting around 1 minute is very reminiscent (to me) of the 42DIMENSIT10 track from Aphex Twin Field Day album !

Where does that bassline come from ??? It almost sounds like something straight out of Exai ! I'm 100% sure I've heard it before, only at a slightly faster tempo

Haha yeah it definitely has some video game atmosphere. To me it's more of a first-stage final boss battle at the end of a great RPG !

Finally finished Dark Souls 3 for the first time (still have to beat the DLCs !). Awesome game really, deserves all the praise it got... I hadn't been that excited about a game since my Diablo 2 days lol. The Remaster Switch edition has been delayed so I still have some time to explore a bit deeper or even start a NG+ before discovering DS1 !

Pretty sure they have the technology to do this. I'd subscribe to some weekly or even monthly Autechre broadcast without thinking twice ! The LP boxset would be a bit too heavy tho

Yeah definitely. At the end of the track right ? It's quite clear imo. Sounds kind of like the "sampled" piano in acdwn2, although now I suspect that might actually be physical modelling synthesis ?
