It's been released on Tidal at midnight here in France, guess it's the same for other streaming platforms. Happy first listen everyone ! Will be back in 14mn to give my opinion.

Yes. Do you plan on doing the DLC next ?
-
I hope my usual record store will have it in stock this week-end, but if they do, it will probably end up being with a 35€ price tag

I got kind of bored of Persona 5 Royal after roughly 40h of gameplay but picked it up again during my vacations and I am now totally hooked. The story unfolds really well and I can't wait to find out more. I keep on bothering my co-workers with that story of Phantom Thieves and don't ever want it to end !

I can only feel bad for the guy who would be sad enough to print and setup everything just to impress 4 people on Discogs, 2 weeks before the single is out lol.

Stream "taylor pretend Mx[112]", the first single from forthcoming "Computer controlled steel-strings guitar", available now

This is a nice one, I always love to discover the names of obscure, niche subgenres within electronic music. "Filthy Electrohouse" for example, wtf is this? Subgenres are obviously artificial constructs but still useful imo to quickly discover new "galaxies", as your FB designer seem to employ this metaphor!

The guy is walking on Teenage Engineering territory with these prices -
It is quite funny indeed, never took the time to 100% the game but the first few endings I reached were good. Have fun !

Anyone spent some money on Steam sales yet ? I don't know why, but I want to go and try a space 4X game (never played one before !). I'm on the verge between Stellaris and Endless Space 2, which both look awesome but also seem to need a shit ton of DLC to propose a complete experience.

New countdown, new release? [Aphex Twin Warp Store]

the "Big Cheesys" thing ALWAYS remind me of a Ufabulum-style track someone did for a WATMM tribute comp to Squarepusher, in which he used the "lyrics" from the comic where Squarepusher presents his chubstep album, Ufabulous. Track is genuinely amazing so here you go : https://wearethemusicmakers.bandcamp.com/track/unknown-inspired-track -
Maybe it just depends on the country you live in? Most of the time, copyright on Warp related material is claimed by Merlin[UK] (iirc), maybe PIAS is in charge outside of the UK?

It is still on his Instagram ! An album based on his Rebuild lives would be amazing, I guess it would also be a way for him celebrate this point in his career. -
It sounds amazing, thanks ! I also stumbled upon the XAOC Devices Tallin, which looks more complete, saturation-wise. Aaaaand the AtoVprojekt "cDVCA" which is a crazy pack of overdrive possibilities - but also, a bit more expansive. Anyway, I will probably have to think a bit more of the VCAs because while watching the Persephone demos, I discovered they also have a phaser which is HUGE. Soooooo I might start with the wavefolder + phaser to play a bit more with the Moog alone, and get 1 or 2 VCAs in a few months ? Btw damo, do you do eurorack ? Would love to hear about your setup !

I picked Two Point Campus, very funny sim game, however the game seems to hide its complexity during the first few levels (probably to avoid discouraging new players). Good for them but I feel like the first levels will just be tutorials that I will have to plow through before reaching the "real" game. Had the same feeling with Two Point Hospital and never went past the 3rd mission or something ?

I am (very slowly) building a modular system which I intend to design as a complement to my Moog Matriarch, i.e. using the Moog's oscs and filters with various eurorack options. For now I have MI Beads (which I love despite finding it very difficult to use) and Intellijel's Plonk (will use it as a perc module mostly). I am planning on getting a Joranologue Fold 6 to add wavefolding to the Moog, and a Pam Pro Workout to clock everything. I am now looking for a nice VCA, with a bit of character (I've been looking to LPG, or VCAs with distortion) - I'll have the Matriarch VCAs for cleaner, more straightforward output. If anybody has any advice I'll be glad to listen to it !

Yeah, this + let's not forget how he tried to destroy the IDM scene by eating beards and turning Richard D James into a gorilla... -

Richard taught us a very important lesson on the matter with the pretend analog track !!
-
I honestly always bought the legend of Analord being 100% analog, from the machines used to the recording to the vinyl pressing. I'm no purist, and only ever listened to it digitally anyway but your post surprises me !
-
I know fm synthesis is digital but for some reason both of these track give me Analord-y vibes. I really enjoy it !
-
Flol what a mess this release has been. No hate tlon Warp tho, Aphex Twin clearly isn't the easiest artist to manage ?
-
Omg Ivan thank you so much for posting this haha. Every single vinyl release is 10-15€ more expensive than it was 3 years ago. In my local record store, Amber repress was 25€, LP5 repress was 30€, Draft 7.30 is 40€.
