    Preordered the cassette as I'm a sucker for physical media I have no way of playing back. Listened today while working and it's pure gorgeous. I might be wrong but I'm finding it pretty easy to pick apart who did what in each track, which is great as I love all three members' work equally. It's giving me some Daniel Lanois vibes too, Belladonna era stuff. This will be my nodding off to sleep album for the foreseeable.

    Thank you for listening zoix and for the feedback. I had a few arguements with myself about the section you mention, but decided I wanted to keep it as hypnotic as possible in that particular part. Also, after working on it for so long, I kinda stopped hearing everything in isolation. But I can totally see where you are coming from and can easily agree. Also agree about the drums, but I could never get them to sit right with the vocals when I tried to push them higher in the mix. It always began to sound like the drums were a bit disembodied.     Sorry, I meant in terms of the British public accepting a second referendum to go ahead, and then counting on the turnout to reverse it. I know it was a very close vote on the first referendum, but I feel the leave voters will be emboldened if there was a second referendum. On the other hand, all the potential young voters that weren't arsed voting the last time might be bothered this time. Would love to see it. This whole thing is a fucking disaster. EU jus fukn wan u bak bbz.

    Perhaps you mean the live recording at Quirky? Sorry, not sure what you're referring to? I mean the droning sound throughout the second track of Quirky, Brixton. There's also some ending bit of Kalpol Introl there. Or do you mean something else? No, this is a "classic" Autechre sound, from the Amber days... I need to sit down and listen and think about which AE track the sound I hear appears in... I need Google search for my thoughts! Maybe not the same as what you are referring to, but the sound I hear at 1:36 in 1st 44 reminds me of the vocal sounding bits of Nine. Around 3:05

    Really? What the hell! That good?! So fckng curious right now! Yeah, this is an incredible ep. I'm a bit worried here. I've listened to it a good bit and although I think it's really good I don't see it as utterly incredible. I'm not trying to be contrary either, I just don't see it as groundbreaking or better produced(@96kbps admittedly) than Drukqs or Rushup Edge etc. Maybe it's the bit rate that is clouding things for me? Then again I think this leak sounds quite good for what it is. I dunno yo.

    This crossed my mind as I was pretty freaked out and was alone, but I think it would be an overreaction at this stage. Will see how it goes over the next few weeks.

    Moved into a new house around a month ago and all is going smooth. Watching a few films on Sunday night and I see my neighbor coming home at around 12:30am. I continue watching my film and after 20 minutes decide it's time for another beer. I go out to the kitchen, grab it, close the fridge and close the door behind me. Then I hear the muffled screaming and I stop dead in my tracks. Absolute bloody murder somewhere next door but I can't really make anything out. I think that it might be an intense argument on the phone or something. After waiting 20 seconds it stops completely and I put my can on the table and continue playing the film. The audio is quite low, so low that I have the subs on just in case I miss any quieter dialogue. So then I see that the fire is dying so I get up, go through to the hall and get some briquettes and close the door behind me. Screaming commences again, this time with added banging. It sounds as if someone is thrashing around in bed or they are slamming a bedside cabinet. So I realise in my tipsy state that this is a reaction to any sound that I make. I'm not being loud at all, I'm just closing doors as I normally would by turning the handle down, closing the door and releasing, so there isn't even a bang when the lock connects with the door. This goes on and I start to panic a bit, as the last thing I want to do is annoy anyone. Anyway, I test it one last time and throw the fuel on the fire and stoke it and this time the screams and banging are louder than ever and I'm starting to get worried that this psycho will come next door to me and smash my front door window or something. So I stop dead, turn off the film and quietly go to bed. Fun times. This is a semi detached house so there is solid concrete between the houses and noise hasn't been an issue. It's been an otherwise pleasant move.

    Salary increase, created a music video for a friend's band and having a jam with a new band this evening which I've been looking forward to for around two months(coincidentally the same time filming started for the aforementioned video) . Today was a good day. Listen to the fuzzy-wuzzy, slippy bass nugget below if you please!

    Thanks for the advice everyone. Think I'll keep my eyes peeled for a sale and purchase then. Does anyone have any experience using it alongside Ableton Live 9 as a 64bit VST plugin?
