  1. @delet: bill clinton is a different story? he didn't have consent from his wife to sleep with other women. so he basically raped his marriage.

    yeah, unless you count these-

    • Eileen Wellstone, 19-year-old English woman who said Clinton sexually assaulted her after she met him at a pub near the Oxford where the future President was a student in 1969. A retired State Department employee, who asked not to be identified, confirmed that he spoke with the family of the girl and filed a report with his superiors. Clinton admitted having sex with the girl, but claimed it was consensual. The victim's family declined to pursue the case;
    • In 1972, a 22-year-old woman told campus police at Yale University that she was sexually assaulted by Clinton, a law student at the college. No charges were filed, but retired campus policemen contacted by Capitol Hill Blue confirmed the incident. The woman, tracked down by Capitol Hill Blue last week, confirmed the incident, but declined to discuss it further and would not give permission to use her name;
    • In 1974, a female student at the University of Arkansas complained that then-law school instructor Bill Clinton tried to prevent her from leaving his office during a conference. She said he groped her and forced his hand inside her blouse. She complained to her faculty advisor who confronted Clinton, but Clinton claimed the student ''came on'' to him. The student left the school shortly after the incident. Reached at her home in Texas, the former student confirmed the incident, but declined to go on the record with her account. Several former students at the University have confirmed the incident in confidential interviews and said there were other reports of Clinton attempting to force himself on female students;
    • Broaddrick, a volunteer in Clinton's gubernatorial campaign, said he raped her in 1978. Mrs. Broaddrick suffered a bruised and torn lip, which she said she suffered when Clinton bit her during the rape;
    • From 1978-1980, during Clinton's first term as governor of Arkansas, state troopers assigned to protect the governor were aware of at least seven complaints from women who said Clinton forced, or attempted to force, himself on them sexually. One retired state trooper said in an interview that the common joke among those assigned to protect Clinton was "who's next?". One former state trooper said other troopers would often escort women to the governor's hotel room after political events, often more than one an evening;
    • Carolyn Moffet, a legal secretary in Little Rock in 1979, said she met then-governor Clinton at a political fundraiser and shortly thereafter received an invitation to meet the governor in his hotel room. "I was escorted there by a state trooper. When I went in, he was sitting on a couch, wearing only an undershirt. He pointed at his penis and told me to suck it. I told him I didn't even do that for my boyfriend and he got mad, grabbed my head and shoved it into his lap. I pulled away from him and ran out of the room."
    • Elizabeth Ward, the Miss Arkansas who won the Miss America crown in 1982, told friends she was forced by Clinton to have sex with him shortly after she won her state crown. Last year, Ward, who is now married with the last name of Gracen (from her first marriage), told an interviewer she did have sex with Clinton but said it was consensual. Close friends of Ward, however, say she still maintains privately that Clinton forced himself on her.
    • Paula Corbin, an Arkansas state worker, filed a sexual harassment case against Clinton after an encounter in a Little Rock hotel room where the then-governor exposed himself and demanded oral sex. Clinton settled the case with Jones recently with an $850,000 cash payment.
    • Sandra Allen James, a former Washington, DC, political fundraiser says Presidential candidate-to-be Clinton invited her to his hotel room during a political trip to the nation's capital in 1991, pinned her against the wall and stuck his hand up her dress. She says she screamed loud enough for the Arkansas State Trooper stationed outside the hotel suite to bang on the door and ask if everything was all right, at which point Clinton released her and she fled the room. When she reported the incident to her boss, he advised her to keep her mouth shut if she wanted to keep working. Miss James has since married and left Washington. Reached at her home last week, the former Miss James said she later learned that other women suffered the same fate at Clinton's hands when he was in Washington during his Presidential run.
    • Christy Zercher, a flight attendant on Clinton's leased campaign plane in 1992, says Presidential candidate Clinton exposed himself to her, grabbed her breasts and made explicit remarks about oral sex. A video shot on board the plane by ABC News shows an obviously inebriated Clinton with his hand between another young flight attendant's legs. Zercher said later in an interview that White House attorney Bruce Lindsey tried to pressure her into not going public about the assault.
    • Kathleen Willey, a White House volunteer, reported that Clinton grabbed her, fondled her breast and pressed her hand against his genitals during an Oval Office meeting in November, 1993. Willey, who told her story in a 60 Minutes interview, became a target of a White House-directed smear campaign after she went public.

  2. not familiar with so i cant comment on beetroot, but pineapple and an egg on a burger? wtf

    actually i have wondered about eggs on there but never tried it

    i suppose pineapple might work but itd totally change the tone of the burger, kind of like when you put it on pizza

    oh but pineapple and egg on the same burger definitely sounds wack to me

    go back to australia delet

  3. the ship of theseus thing is stupid to apply to a human as if it says we're an entirely different person only one day later. there may be small changes, but they're small. its a gradual progression, of the same organism. dismantling that organism will always be... dismantling that organism. it doesn't matter whether you make a copy of it on the other side of the galaxy/universe or not. it doesn't matter whether the copy is made 500 years from now or within the next plank unit which would probably violate some kind of principal of the universe since you have to analyze the structure, convert it to data, transmit that data somewhere else and reconvert it to matter. you could never do all that within one step. but it doesn't even matter. a copy is a copy. if you have no problem with killing yourself because a copy of you is made from some digital data on the other side of the galaxy at some point afterwards, you shouldn't have a problem just killing yourself period. so why not get smashed in a piston?

  4. oh this reminds me limpy, i have a really cool idea, you should love this-

    giant pistons, in space. giant space pistons.

    ok so you'd have this huge platform in space basically, it's solid like steel, smooth as possible, maybe a few hundred yards/meters across. it doesn't have to be in space but i like to think it's in space. so anyway you can go lay on it, because, and this is the fun part, every half hour or so, this huge piston smashes into it with incredible force. such force that you're liquified and just shot out the sides in all directions, all 360 degrees, just a sheet of liquid flying through space, or like a ring that's expanding outward in space. there's a big line of people who made a pilgrimage to this thing, waiting their turn.

    again more extreme than going to sleep but apparently that's irrelevant. so it should be totally cool/ok. if i'm going to commit futuristic suicide in some crazy machine i'd want it to be a giant space piston, not some box that has a sign that says 'teleporter' on it, that disintegrates me when i step into it. so some copy of me can step out the other side and study rocks on mars. whos the more hardcore nihilist now limpy, ya fuckin pussy

  5. are you just a suicidal nihilist or what limpy? lemme guess, death is irrelevant to you? because a guy in a magazine said your death is no different than the fact of going to sleep?

    if what he says is true and you really agree with it, why not just shut the teleporter at point B off and not make the copy of you? lets just say you stepped into teleporter a, which we can now just describe as a machine that disintegrates you. and that's it. nothing else. more extreme than going to sleep, for sure, but so what?

    why is the copy even necessary? how does it's creation somehow complete this thing in a way that makes it OK? why not lets all just step into machines that destroy us and be done with it.

  6. call me crazy, but i think no matter how someone tries to word a clever sounding argument, there's a pretty damn big difference between going to sleep at night and waking up the next day 'a different person', and stepping into a device that disassembles you at a molecular level, or whatever it does which essentially kills you.

  7. "The words were strong and scary enough that the students who saw it were shaken and scared,"

    "It's bad that something like this would happen at a time when students are already so fragile."

    i think it's more bad that students on campuses across the country/western world are probably at the most fragile they've ever been, by design. what happened at missouri u is almost surely just going to be the first wave of similar/related incidences of colleges being turned on by the monster they themselves created and now have no idea how to control.

  8. randomly mentioning- the telltale game was aight. season 1 anyway. until i got to the last chapter and my savegame fucked up and i couldn't finish it, which seems to be an issue with it (and which telltale seems to have just shittily ignored in their forums even tho lots were bitching about it), and made me decide against playing any of them after that. it was ok story wise etc, like most telltale stuff lately. haven't read any of the comic so the game is my only other walking dead exposure

  9. imo they totally fucked up the whole glen thing and also missed a lot of possible opportunities with it.

    when glen fell his head was situated away from the thing he and that guy were standing on, but somehow when he's laying there he crawls under it as if his head was pointing back at it, unless i maybe missed it showing him somehow crawl back in that direction with a ton of zombies pulling at him? either way, it was totally cheating. tv shows/movies cheating with things like this, where they show you one thing and then kind of change what they showed you to get out of a problem they made, goes back to the old days. i kind of hate when they do it. i hated it about the game heavy rain where they had to sort of retroactively change what you saw to explain how the twist could be possible. imo its bad writing that ruins something that could've been cool had they put more thought into working it out in a more consistent with the established facts manner.

    anyway, i think they clearly intended the fake glen death thing to be the cornerstone for this season since they dragged it out so long, and they totally fucked it up. was any one person at all surprised when they showed him again? the idiots couldn't even keep their own secret a secret for literally like 5 minutes because they had the talking dead guy basically clue you in that what you just saw may not have been what it looked like. is this a byproduct of our pussified PC society and the walking dead team assuming society couldn't handle a fake out of a 'favorite tv show character' being killed, so they had to soften the blow by giving us a wink and nudge right after? i mean what the fuck, why even do it, act like its a big part of the season, if they aren't even going to commit to it 50% of the way? i can't understand what logic went behind this at all.

    one opportunity they totally blew is that even tho this kind of thing has been done by shows/movies forever, they had something none of those had, which is the chance to take the fake-out to a meta level. because they have that stupid talk show about the show, they could've brought glen's actor on, had him act like he really was killed off, then bring him back. that might've been lame in its own way but at least it would've been a unique thing, and also a more modern 'meta' way of doing the age old fake-out. can't believe how bad they fucked this up...

  10. nice floaty melodies from the start and i really like that one really spacey synth that comes in that has that timbre kind of like the one vangelis used in the blade runner sound track. that sort of synth sound i think was used a lot in fantasy movie soundtracks in the 80s too. wish i knew how to make that type of sound. anyway i really like it

  11. yeh i def think somehow glen gets out of that situation but i'm annoyed by how they make you think they killed him, then pull him out of what seems like an impossible situation. but the whole situation was stupid to begin with, him and that guy ran right past some stairs leading to a roof. it seems pretty unlikely that they'd have killed glen in such a pointless way anyway considering how long he's been on the show. just seems like a cheap fakeout to me. thered have been a better way of doing it

  12. re: genesis vid

    the metal spacekazoid outfit is.. wack

    long blonde pigtails are, ok i guess

    watever

    re flesh without blood-

    jesus remember when people used to bitch about mtv not showing music videos anymore? maybe its a good thing. i mean, music videos are kinda retarded. especially this one.

  13. yeah i saw the other guy falling with glens hands right on his shoulder so i assumed some of that mess was that other guy, but you keep seeing more and more intestinal guts being pulled and it just went on for what seemed like forever with glens big old crybaby face just cryin and cryin while more messy bowels are just getting tugged on, its like at some point thats gotta be glens insides doesnt it? based on how these zombies can just instantly pull out someones insides, there should be no way for glen to get out of that spot, or no way that some of those guts weren't already his

  14. ok a few things

    a) at this point i feel like im mostly just watching the show to bitch about it

    b) imho rick's plan for dealing with the pit zombies was utterly fucking retarded. i think just about anyone alive, placed in that situation, if zombies were somehow real, their first idea would be 'lets make molotovs and catch them on fire from above'. a few zombies get blazed, wander around, light up a few more, it spreads and they're all lit up, end of. but noooooooo. dumb mother fucker has to concoct the most convoluted possible idea, to go on a little stroll across the country with a million zombies. like, what could go wrong dude?

    c) so basically imo rick is responsible for everyone's deaths. but

    d) rick's decision making should've been seriously examined looooooooong before this point anyway!

    e) i must say it did bother me about glen.

    i) i mean, nobody should be above getting eaten. nobody should be safe because then theres no real threat

    ii) but cmon, its glen. for me he's prob the second guy right after daryl who should not be eaten, or

    iii) if he IS going to go down, it should be a lot more badass, like when daryl's bro went down, that was actually pretty fucken

    rad i must say.

    f) ok but here's what pissed me off even more about the glen thing. when that stupid talking dead show comes on, and the guy says something like 'yeah so nobody from the show is a guest here tonight but don't let that give you any ideas or assumptions about the show' (and i swear i was in the process of turning the channel as he's saying this), so then i'm like 'ok well thanks asshole, but i hadn't had any thoughts or assumptions about that until just now when you said that'. THEN like right after that he says 'what appears to be glen getting eaten'.

    WTF

    if those assholes, ok i mean the guy blew his brains out, he and glen fall, then you dont see that other guy you just see guts, assume theyre glen's, and then some guy says they 'appeared to be' glens guts. i can't fucking believe it. if those assholes somehow wrote glen a way out of that, i'm gonna be even more pissed that they UNkilled him than i was about him being dead.

    thats fucking bullshit

    hes on his back, surrounded by dozens of them, and even if those guts did belong to that other dick for brains, the zombies are bending over to pull them out of that guy's carcass, and theyd see glens big ole crying face and start eating him too. this is seriously stupid if that was all a trick and glen gets out of there alive. god damn i hate this show

  15. the Oregon shooting was a false flag
    You will find evidence
    that the shooter's father had a government job
    that the college recently changed its security protocols
    that some shady politician recently spoke there
    that the victims' parents are acting strange
    that Oregon had unsuccessfully been trying to push gun control laws

    oh

    my

    godddddd

    limpy who do you think is setting these things up? is it obama or is he just a puppet, maybe of some shadowy, like a group who secretly runs things?

  16.

    But you do remember that Cosby admitted it ten years ago and didn't exactly do a good job denying it recently. Kind of hard to compare him with MJ, who probably never experienced reality.

    again, at this point i feel like cosby almost def did some of the things hes accused of, but didn't he just admit to getting pills to like, give to women but denied that it was to rape them but just like, to party with them or whatever? i'm a little ignorant on the exact thing he admitted to, you're talking about the deposition thing right? i totally agree that what i heard of what he said there def does make it more likely he did the things hes accused of imo, but technically i dont think he actually admitted to rape. someone could parse those words and say that all he admitted to was procuring drugs for women he hung out with, and when most people in hollywood are doing drugs you can hardly call that a capital offense can you? again, yeah it definitely makes him look more guilty considering the nature of the accusations but my understanding is that when he admitted to getting those pills and giving them to women, he explicitly denied it was to rape them. lots of people were popping ludes back then, watch a cheech and chong.

    but yeah his recent denial was pretty shit, obviously

  17. @limp when you say like the way i think you mean that you really dont like it right

    i feel like cosby prob def did rape or assault some of those women. but i also feel like his statements that got him on the bad side of the naacp and the PC leaning side of the spectrum probably also had some affect on how that particular side of the spectrum reacted to the allegations coming out recently. some people seemed a bit glad to see it going down, that's all im saying

    and yeah the families/parents of the kids in the alleged MJ incidents were always shady as fuck but that doesnt take away from the fact that MJ himself was creepy as all fuck and doing things that would get anyone else who wasn't him labelled as a likely pedo, and rightfully so. people have a kind of built in detector for this particular type of creep factor, probably something to do with the innate natural instinct people have when it comes to their kids, a sort of evolutionary thing where people tend to not want their kids diddled by fuckin weirdos. so people tend to look at that type of behavior such as sleeping with children and be weary of that. imo that's totally natural and if people didn't have that sort of judgement we prob never would've survived as a species or evolved into one in the first place. and if someone doesn't have that kind of judgement i hope they don't have kids. how many people supposedly in denial that MJ did anything sexual with those kids, or at least wanted to, would actually let their own kids sleep in bed with him?

    another thing, isn't it entirely likely that a lets say hypothetical child predator, would likely have to look for kids with unusual parents? we say 'oh the parents were shady and coming up with crazy contradictory stories' and they also obviously saw the lawsuits against MJ as a ticket to easy street, yeah ok. but so what? normal parents wouldn't let their kids sleep at MJ's place in the first place! so they obviously ALREADY saw money in their eyes when they first let him around their kids. and this is pretty evident by reading into the backgrounds of the stories. these people were giving him access to their kids in return for money/gifts/etc. that's already shady. and someone who wanted to have access to kids and was famous and rich would pretty much need to depend on finding kids with those exact types of parents to get access to kids, now wouldn't they? so i don't personally feel that the parents turning out to be shady themselves really makes it any less likely that MJ did what he was accused of. in fact it totally fits the type of families a predator would have to find and groom, to get close to kids. ones with shitty parents.

  18. let's bring this full circle and imagine if MJ had been the one to publicly make comments such as that young black males should stop dropping out of school and start pulling up their pants and acting more respectable... would we all be pretty sure he had touched the weiners he was accused of touching then? or at least what % of people who are in the 'he probably didnt do anything with those kids' would be in the 'ok he did it hes scum' camp? would i be wrong to assume a possibility that it would at least be some % that would change their vote on the issue?
