that is a good question. but you have to realize, that we don´t know how old the stuff is. i would think that this is an early version of the album, just look at the weird fades, double-ilanders etc. i´m pretty sure the official promo version isn´t like that.

you can have your opinion and you can of course write want you want, BUT: ignoring the fact the ilanders and see on see were played on sunday, and that these two fit perfectly into the leaked album makes you look like a retard. and besides that: who would make a fake that sounds like this anyway? Ae making an album based almost completely on FM-sounds? are you kidding me? fakers do stuff like that soulless and crappy altered carbon shit.

i kinda understand all the quaristice hate. i hate all that perlence-like crap (including the whole piece of shit that is quadrange) with a passion, but on the other hand i LOVE (L_O_V_E!!) the more structured, crunchy or ambient stuff like plyphon, simm, fol4/3, tankraken/ tankakern, wnsn, nofour/ notwo, sondere-ix. ae´s best and weakest moments on one album, how cool is that? and two things to all the people wondering why oversteps was played on a german radio station for the first time. germany is the second biggest music- and media-market in the world (US being first) AND, even more important: i wrote many whining posts on the de-bug website asking them (under different usernames - i´m a pathetic nerd i know) to play new ae stuff on their show, to the point where they wrote that they don´t want to get death threads so they will air it. haha

i was listening oversteps for the last 6 or 7 hours now and i have to say: sparkling, gorgeous and totally über-awesome! surprisingly ilanders is one of the weaker tracks. definitely a grower.

How ironic, Just A Souvenir sounds just like the Oversteps artwork looks like. A black hole. haha, true

treale is EPIC!

treale is epic. this weird bladerunner/ moebius/ final fantasy 7 atmosphere blows me away. it was never (after lp5) easy to get an ae album at the beginning. but back then it were the weird rhythms and soundscapes, now it´s the melodies. love it.

known(1) is horrible and gay.

i remember how i lol´d the first time i heard the leaked version of "lcc", i couldn´t believe it´s ae. guys, we are confused at the moment (the double ilanders is indeed weird), but this is the real deal. i´m totally sure.

i´m pretty totally sure it´s legit. liking it so far. very sci-fi´ish.
