  1. I gave up circa s13. Saw a few more recent episodes, but nothing past s20ish. Still think s2 to s07/08 is some of the best comedy ever written (I haven't watched an episode in year but quote the Simpsons almost daily ah!). Still watching The Office (US), for the first time, s08. Laughing a lot. Also slowly going through Succession s04. Still waiting for Netflix to drop their Three Body Problem adaptation, and for Apple TV to air new Foundation & For All Mankind seasons. Not sure when new Severant episodes are planned ?
  2. New EP is excellent. Does any one know if the NS live set is mostly new material too ? From the bits I've heard (I've yet to listen to the whole thing, it slaps hard ! that bassline at the 12 minutes mark, oh my !
  3. It is, but damn it'll be worth it. Around the 17 minutes mark : And that's just one oscillator, and still a WIP. The raw tones are jaw-dropping. And now, just imagine that in the context of Zebra, with its signature 4 lanes, all the FM goodness derived from Bazille, various comb-filters just like in Hive 2, Diva/Repro-grade filters, all sorts of shapers and MSEGs / LFOs... ? And I bet they've improved the code bits they're borrowing from their current catalogue.
  4. Yes ! Zebralette 3 should be out this year (and free), while Zebra 3 is meant to be ready next year. Can’t wait for it, the sonics and possibilities of this prototype are already incredible.
  5. Especially around the 18 minutes mark... I can't wait.
  6. Thanks everyone ! It's a breathtaking, mesmerizing record, and it's now out.
  7. The opener is killer. On first listen I don't like the 2nd track that much though
  8. Thank you so much @mlon ! Immensely proud of our current catalogue and all these human collabs, and equally as impatient to share our future releases too. By the way, we have a new one* out today ? *preorder are up, release is imminent
  9. https://nebulo.bandcamp.com/album/mmxxii CD & digital files (inc. 24/48 hi-res downloads) Releases May 12, 2023. You can already preorder it and stream / download its first single, zt. It's stellar.
  10. Of course RDJ has all the lush pads So does Aleksei ... and the Tundra(s) ... and teh xox (I wanted to post Celeste) Hiele !
  11. I was a bit disappointed by Hello Tomorrow tbh. It was nice still but not as compelling as I thought it could be. Watched The Office UK eons ago, can't remember it aside from laughing a lot. I'm watching the US version for the first time, currently mid s03, and I'm laughing a lot too. Watching The Power, I'm curious to see where it's heading towards. I'm quite intrigued.
  12. I was about to mention Fennesz but you beat me to it. I also love early Keith Fullerton Whirtman's records like Playthrough, which is all about digital guitar processing.
  13. via GOTO Records Bandcamp : To celebrate, William Fields has offered some bonus material relating to "Fictions", aptly titled "Nonfictions". If you have bought a copy of "Fictions", physical _or_ digital, these tracks have now been added to the release as bonus content. Please re-download your purchase of "Fictions" to enjoy these extra cuts. I mastered the Nonfictions tunes, fabulous tunes (as usual).
  14. Despite the recommandations by my friend Jafs, I've never really clicked with Upsammy's music. But I hit the Buy button right after listening to that new one, sounds ace.
  15. Rewatching Veep too, still in s02 though (and you can already see the pace and dynamic working their magic, no matter how great s01 is). I'm just dreading the cruel / unfair final plot : amazingly written / acted / captured, but damn, so freaking painfully immoral (yet perfect for the show). s02 is pretty awesome with the introduction of Kent and Ben, I love what they bring. So many incredible characters in this show. And I know it only gets better. Amazing series yeah
  16. And still his finest record to my ears.
  17. Releases January 20, 2023, via https://threeop.bandcamp.com/ & https://tsrono.bandcamp.com/album/vale Lost in a wooden thicket Surrounded by mist and fog The foliage is dense Reflections glimmer on the pool In this realm there is ebb and flow Echoes of all that has come to pass Premonitions of what is yet to be At the intersection of then, now, and beyond You are in the vale We are all in the vale --- I've had the pleasure to listen to tsrono's work for years now. It's the work of a kindred spirit that constantly inspires me. And it's some of the lushest, most atmospheric, and skillfully varied electronic music you will hear. Vale is the latest entry in this rich body of work, and within it you will find a delicately honed soundcraft that eschews nostalgia for raw originality. And it's with nothing but joy that we get to release vale on 3OP. In addition to an extensive self-released catalog, tsrono has released with various outlets such as allosst on Point Source Electronic Arts, n-v center on Not Yet Remembered, arche on 1834; remixed for Temp-Illusion on Pend Reworks; and collaborated as 0.syx, releasing Radials on Schematic. For the sonic construction of vale, tsrono cultivated rhythms, textures, and drones from analog & digital hardware. Included with both the digital and physical release are four select bonus tracks from the vale sessions at cross shores. We know vale will envelop and enchant you like it has us. Enjoy. -E Written & recorded at cross shores 2020-2022 Mastering by Nil Hartman Artwork by Andrew Bates Written & recorded at cross shores 2020-2022 Mastering by Nil Hartman Artwork by Andrew Bates Preview : vale is a huge, huge grower. Eerie, ethereal and lush.
  18. For a different take on Max by another patch virtuoso, I recommend checking Iftah Gabbai's work https://www.instagram.com/iftah.gabbai/
  19. Tom's a proper Max don, working for c74 providing fantastic educational content and delivering stellar music. Ben's setup is Max + hardware synths. Noxin's pure Max AFAIK, same goes for IKTS. Synalegg's just switched from PD to Max. Kindohm has a few Max jams online which are just killer. Eczem released some Max LPs in the past and is incorporating it back in his set-up (incredible WIPs up his sleeves I must add). I for one am embracing the Live + Max / M4L combo and am currently patching my own variably generative sequencer. ps: Calum also works for c74 and told me about his Max tunes, I haven't listened to these yet but from what he told me I just can't wait.
  20. Indeed he is. His EVEL release is rad as well.
