Finished Stoner and By Night in Chile which are both nice brisk reads Stoner being a bit more dense. Stoner comes across as genuinely American with a display of beautiful honesty, I loved it. By Night in Chile is worth it through and through the ending is perfect.

Finished The Red and the Black by Stendhal. Loved it's strong character development and historical references (especially regarding religion). Been absorbing a new style of literature drifting away from realism. Name of the novel is 2666 by Roberto Bolano so far I can't get enough.
  6. please explain this further, as my brain is not making the connection It's of course solely my own interpretation but I'll do my best to explain further. I agree, that sentence was not well formulated leaving question as to what I'm trying too describe. Do you remember the karaoke scene? Well take that for instance, we have a character singing what to some may be viewed as heartfelt, for some hilarious, and for others holding no meaning. It does what art does best by invoking a response in the person viewing or taking it in (the actors do not steal the show they only enhance the experience). The Wolf of Wall Street is a good example of a movie that does the complete opposite. It's completely dependent on the viewer I guess and the connection they make to it in whatever fashion.... I'll start rambling so I'll just leave it at that.
  7. Still not following why so many people seem to dislike Only God Forgives. I've talked with friends about this film on a few occasions and we come up with the same conclusions on how it's visually artistic which seem's to be something that is a lost art in film these days. The characters come across as devoid of feeling but doesn't this add to what I've just set forth? I'm not saying that it's some miracle work of cinema more so that it has elements that are rarely seen in contemporary film.
  8. “If volition is bound to social imperatives, as William James believed, and it's therefore easier to go to war than it is to quit smoking, one could say that Liz Norton was a woman who found it easier to quit smoking than to go to war.”

  9. Survival : Style 5+ Funnest Japanese film I've ever seen. Colorful sets, colorful character's, and Japanese humor at it's heights. 9.5 / 10
  10. "B happy, B healthy." "That's got to go too." umm shs
  11. Big Booty Bitches 3 is widely regarded as having avoided the mysogynistic nihilism of the rest of the Big Booty series, while still maintaining the focus on characterisation and attention to detail that makes the franchise so widely loved. The locker room scene in particular is often cited as perhaps the most uplifting ten minutes in modern internet pornography. It can slip into cheese at times, although Roger Ebert described the production as a whole as 'a tour-de-force, defying cliche while drawing on the best aspects of German Expressionism and the brief British folk-horror boom of the 1970s... a vast improvement upon Big Booty Bitches 2: Homecumming Frenzy, and easily a contender for my all-time top 10'. Most excellent that sounds like it will be quite uplifting( for my cock ).
  12. Would anyone mind suggesting a good uplifting film? Nothing too cheesy more of a down to earth sort of film.
  13. Way too much trap in my life. Such good vibes though from certain tracks.
  14. So much love for Newbound.
  15. I had the same thing happen when I first started listening to Confield. Pen Expers and even more simple and direct tracks like cfern sounded so alien to me. Stuck with it though, talk about being well worth it too I feel like I'll be listening to Ae into old age. On Fleure it's actually one of my favorite tracks on Exai. Fleure might be short(in Ae terms) but I feel like it packs quite a punch because of the beat. It reminds me of Draft/Untilted in fact with the beat driving the piece and the melody sounds like it's trying to break through. Like most AE tracks as well it hits me the hardest when it's loud and on a really great system. Love Fleure favorite opener since LCC/Altibzz.

Just finished Karl Ove Knausgaards - My Struggle last night. Started Infinite Jest last night as well let's see if I can make it through it. Oh and My Struggle was excellent I'd suggest it to anyone due to it's accessibility.
