  1. Yes, have the vinyl rip, and listening now for the 2nd time. Avalible on Reddit r/burial
  2. Just has my first full listen, and it's a great album I think will just grow on me with repeat listens. It sounds so clean and pure and still not artificial or overproduced. Beauty! Seeing him DJ next weekend, and really looking forward to it!
  3. Wow, thank you so much! Just reading through this triggers my deep listening muscle. Too bad I have a weekend of work ahead of me, but this will sort me out next week. I actually found out that I already have the first four Environment albums, just never gave them much time, as I always come back to the old classics when in the mood for some FSOL. The future is bright! ?
  4. Yes, it's really good! Gave it a first listen today, and it won't be long before it's back on!
  5. Oh, this one sounds nice! I haven't been able to keep up with all their online releases. Which ones stand out as the best? I need to get up to speed on FSOL me thinks!
  6. They never managed to raise enough money so it been cancelled for now.. I really like the whole Colundi story and most of the music he put's out, but I went to see him play live a few weeks ago, and from watching him it didn't seem very live at all so I had a little sneak around the back to see what he was actually doing.. It was just a laptop with his DAW playing a 90 min pre-arranged "set". It was by no means bad in any way, and in fact it was a lot of fun all the way though, but I kind of wish I hadn't sneaked a peak as it took away some of the joy of seeing him play "live".
  7. I love the new series, and it reminds me of when they did the Riverrun series as well. Possibly my favourite late Underworld era. They are no doubt best when they just let if flow and not overthink it.
  8. Wow, sequence 17 is hard to keep track of what is what.. but it is also an amazing big bag of greatness!
  9. Yes, the new mix is amazing! Hope it will be avalible for download somewhere eventually.
  10. I'm listening to this album again now, and even though it still sounds amazing I can't help but feel alittle sad that this anniversary edition never happened..
  11. Preacher was quite good imo, and I hope they can keep it getting better. It really sucks that hey can have sex and cursing, as that's half the fun, but as a huge fan of the comic, I'm just really happy they didn't butcher it completely.
  12. I used to read with Comicrack, but switched to Comic Zeal and like it a lot better. (iPad) I just read Saga and got hooked, so now I'm waiting for more. Anyone read it? An easy read just like Y: The Last Man, but really good.
  13. Finally had the time to spin this album a few times the last week and it's pretty great actually. His best so far for sure, and keeps growing on me. So diverse and yet so coherent. Big album! I like how his tracks are more divided than before as well, still floating so smoothly. Will be played a lot this winter for sure.
  14. One more question. Have you ever had sounds in your head you haven't been able to "get out" musically, that you haven't been able to recreate?
  15. This is great and feel much more personal than a Reddit AMA, or something similar. Thanks for doing this! Do you ever feel that you have locked yourself in a musical style, even though you invented this style yourself? I guess your fans expect your music to sound a certain way, so is this ever an issue or do you simply just make whatever you like and that's the music we get?
  16. Yes, it's really good. Only listened through it once, but it sounds solid!
  17. Wow, just started playing FarCry3, and I haven't played a game this enjoyable in a long time!
  18. I love the new album as I have with most of his albums, and especially the last 4. I feel this is just another step in his musical evolution, and although nothing of what he does here is new he is breaking it to a whole new audience, and he does it well. I love it for it's many references, but also for what he does with them and makes it his own. Another classic!
  19. Hours upon hours of a crushing hangover today resulted in me finishing up the first season of Hemlock Grove, and although the first episode is so bad I have no idea how I ended up giving it another chance, it's a pretty ok series overall. A few flaws here and there, but you get used to them and don't notice them at all after a few episodes. I'll definitely follow over to the next season.

I'm in the same position, I've sampled his work here and there and want to get more into his music, but rarely find myself in the mood for such darkness. I love it when it works though.

    Now Reading

If you liked it you should follow up with the rest of the series. I just bought 2061 : Odyssey Three after finishing 2010 : Odyssey Two, and really looking forward to the rest of the story.
  22. Wow, thanks! This goes straight into my ear drums.
