  1. completely agree, the new generation has horrible taste in movies. Age 20 years old
  2. Seeking a Friend for the End of the World - a direct rip-off of the canadian Last Night (and i mean DIRECT, not similar or kinda-the-same-concept, lifts whole plot and characters), but instead of being dry and moving, it makes no sense. thank you hollywood! the only upside is that carell seems to be growing as a dramatic actor, even if its just a slowly dying depressed bummer of a human being kinda shtick. Swingers - underdeveloped child of a 90s boom of indie movies with people talking most of the time. decent dialogues, but zero crap is given in the story department. the director would later make a much underappreciated post-pulp fiction maserpiece Go, which is a far far better movie, even if equally bandwagonesque.
  3. my name is bruce - i really loved the idea of bruce campbell playing a fictional version of himself, where he's asked to fight a demon on the strenght of his b-movie roles alone. but as much as the idea is amusing, you really need to write some story and really good jokes to make the 75 minutes interesting. meh/10
  4. Aye, mine does it too - and I think from the amount of people that have reported it, it is on purpose. This also adds to the speculation about it being one of the 'bigger boys' on Rephlex. i always considered it a nod to 'hidden tracks', as it's the last song on the ep (it is and stop fighting)
  5. since it's going on, can someone tell me how beznos work? any experience? i'm curious. i know joan vollmer ended up with a psychosis from it, and reading stuff on the web i assume it's mildly psychedelic drug?
  6. if there was ever any mention of steinvord without aphex twin being mentioned as well i guess i would understand the logic of richard trying to make something without his name attached to it. and it's been going on since the myspace popped up, so it's not like it started now.
  7. this thread reminds me of this http://forum.watmm.com/topic/41229-is-monolith-afx/page__hl__monolith
  8. i noticed extreme similarities between 303 scopem hard and iyff acid and cyg x-1.
  9. polysick is a grower, been spinning it for a few days now and it gets better and better. june so far: DMX Krew - East Side Boogie - titular track(s) is pretty bad, but the rest is great. 6/10 Janko Nilovic - Supra Pop Impressions - boring wankrock. 5/10 Jacky Giordano - Pop in... Devil's Train - jazzfunk greatness 8/10 Jacky Giordano & others - Philopsis - more jazzfunk and some sweet acidish stuff too 8/10 Peaking Lights - Lucifer - huge let down. where's the brilliance? this is ok, but ok is not enough 6/10 Bobby Womack - The Bravest Man in the Universe - boring as anything. some decent trip-hop here and there, though 5/10 Kitty Pryde - Haha, I'm Sorry - i think i'm in love with kitty/10 The Smashing Pumpkins - Oceania - unremarkable psychprog 3/10
  10. Is this rant archived anywhere? rss shows nor rant, just what was posted here. aside from some incoherent stuff from 4th of june that just got deleted. how do we know this is directed at watmm?

probably a nod to factory records. kinda cool.
  12. it was thomas. traded msgs via myspace presumably. planet mu deal didn't work out as steinvord didn't have a cd drive apparently. that's hilarious
  13. why would richard spread qchastic fakes?
  14. i like that his only other post is this http://forum.watmm.com/topic/39519-q-chastic/ that's textbook enigmatic.

don't want to be like that guy from 26 mixes thread, but do you have any facts on this or is this more of what richard told you vs what he told that discogs guy? either way i'd say it's pretty open for interpretation.
