The lushness of the saxophone,Albert Ayler ,pure emotion.

The most stressful part is worrying about mixing to me.
And getting proper mastering and release.
And having million of unreleased that need mixing and mastering and release. hahaha
-
Arpeggiators will do that to you.
Arpeggiators are evil hahahaha

Was listening to it again to other day after being away from it for a while.

The best stuff I made was with a mopho, a record player and an ancient computer with audacity. Then with no computer, an alesis MMT-8/HR-16, Mopho and a junk mixer with some WET reverb. built in. When I started to splurge on some nice stuff (DSI Pro2, Gotharman LD2, Tr-606, DX7IIfd, Yamaha CS-50) I had a lot of fun but my tracks were less composed and thought out. Satisfying my GAS was fun but I must say I prefer a limited setup.
Yeah i did tracks with Mopho only. Its real fun to make a track with only one synth sometimes.
BUT
CS-50??? YOU LUCKY BASTARD!!!
My friend has one,and i played on it.
Magic synth. That after touch is godly.

It's amazing! I had tears in my eyes when i first tried it!How's of the Tetra? I don't know much about DSI; never owned any, but always held a little flame for the Evolver... I've pored over the manuals and watched every video on YouTube and it's one of those synths I've always kind of wanted, but there's always just been something else I wanted a little bit more for some reason. it's the kind of synth (like the Shruthi-1) you can tell was just designed by one fuckin' genius nerd.
It's basically a multi timbral demi-prophet 8 with sub oscillators! Massive and powerful sound, quite aggressive!Love it!
I have to get the paid editor to get most of it.
I only have the free and its limited in some aspect(in the multi timbral editing especially)
I should learn to program it with hand and knobs too.
If i can get another one its gonna 8 voices+subs.
Gonna be crazy!!!
You have to get at least one DSI.The sound is massive!!!

Sold my Nord Lead to buy a Tetra.
Got the Tetra.
The very next day i wanted a second one for polychaining.
Im selling my x0xb0x to buy it.
When im gonna get it im probaby gonna want another one for 12 voices polyphony.
Tetra are awesome.
I also lusted for a split 8 this afternoon on ebay. But im too poor for it.
Thank God i dont have a credit card.I would be ruined in a month.

Free vintage emulations, with focus on a bit more obscure gear.Really like the Buchlas, the Cs80 and the Chroma

hahaha I do that all the time. The new fresh and good tracks get repeated to death.Fuck yeah. If I'm particularly enamoured with a track I'll listen to it 10+ times in a row.
I generally listen to new ones a lot and then older personal favourites. Specific tracks can act like bookmarks reminding you of a time or feeling.
10+ times in a row on the day,and following days i made them.
Very old tracks i never listen.
I listen pretty much to less than a year old tracks usually.
But i listen to them ALL.THE.TIME.
My music is some of my favorite music ever(narcissistic much? hahaha)
I make music to have new stuff to play in the style i like.
When i want a track in particular style i dont look for one, i make one.

I love fm so much! FM8 is probably my favorite plugin(with absynth 5 maybe) i made entire drill n bass tracks with only FM8 for synths.
Like 20-30-40 instruments tracks of only FM8.Its wonderful, expressive and can get sounds that are out of this world!
Also i just got a DX7 few weeks ago in a trade for a Minibrute with a friend, and i love it with passion. Its amazing. Hardware takes the FM/PM sound to an even higher level! It feels more alive than FM8.You really feel its coming from a machine, sounds are more organic and powerful!
When you go beyond the usual boring presets and dig into the machine a wonderful world of FM lushness opens to you!
It can go really wild and experimental!
2 recordings with 2 cool presets i made with Dexed.
