  1. qft. Good picks.I would add "months" and "physical memory" from Russian Mind. Also Betrayed in the Octagon, from the album of the same name.
  2. Spagghetto, I think. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GYxfvhlTGOY Classic track, this one's a banger. Definitely better than Black Snow
  3. I wasn't initially hot on Black Snow, but I find myself listening to it on repeat today. The video is cool, but it makes me feel icky. (Not unusual for his vids tho)
  4. This is the writing to be used on signs for a nuclear waste site in New Mexico after they block up the caves for good. A whole bunch of multi-disciplinary scientists basically needed to figure out a way to make it clear the waste is incredibly dangerous to civilizations thousands of years in the future who may not have any concept of radiation, symbols and languages we use. Nice little write up on the project here https://99percentinvisible.org/episode/ten-thousand-years/ Didn't know about this! Raycats is another track on the album, so here's the source for that too
  5. Pattern, your stuff these last few pages has been amaaazing. Would wear any of these as t-shirt prints
  6. lolTrue. I like OPN tho. Totally cool! I just don't like non-music that doesn't settle into a groove or anything. I guess I'm old fashioned. Call me old yeller and put me down out back I guess. =( sorry edit: I know that doesn't apply to all his tracks. The ones that do settle into a groove often have really cringe (to my ears) vocal samples etc laid over them. yeah, and I think this is a perfect example of folks having different tastes! Because I have this exact problem with Ae, and not at all with Opn.I have no problem finding a groove with OPN, but Ae is too abstract/metallic/glitchy for it to become "music" to my ears. For context with the ADD-ness, I am aware and happy about it. I like having a lot of ideas thrown at me, and examining them on repeated listens. My art background was "YouTube Poop" before I started making music, so it fits right in in my head
  7. Different musical preferences man. (Post incunabula) Ae doesn't scratch any musical itches for me, but OPN super does it for me. I need melodies and a heady atmopshere. OPN provides.
  8. Just because I'm hyperventilating doesnt mean others need to do the same. I'm just stoked one of my fav artists is putting out an actual album. Good Time soundtrack probably got more hype than it deserved. It's just like, a normal soundtrack... most definitely not fucking with anyone.
  9. Hey y'all? 300mb zip download of "cat scraps" from GoD on the OPN bleep site. Look for a lil cat gif icon...
  10. Mikaela Davis https://youtu.be/jjsFL_5Td_g https://mikaeladavis.bandcamp.com/album/fortune-teller Edit: damn, those Neverwinter Nights tracks are a nostalgia trip
  11. Dope! Dj Saint-Hubert + footwork is a match made in heaven (or hell, I guess?)
  12. https://soundcloud.com/sephamusic https://sephamusic.bandcamp.com/ quirky braindance stuff, mostly! My trax are always free. I appreciate this thread! It's easy to forget what y'all's monikers are off of WATMM.
  13. haha, I guess it's cheaper to buy the album as seperate tracks than as a whole ($5 vs $10) This is a slight problem I have with footwork trax on bandcamp- it's just impossible to keep up with artists I like, because I can't afford to buy albums at $10+, or tracks at $2 a piece all the time... Young Smoke has a bunch of shit up, and Space Zone was an amazing album, but I havent gotten to hear his new shit because its like $15 - $20 an album! https://youngsmokeastronautatatus.bandcamp.com/music
  14. Zeff, you're missing the point if you dont understand the comparison. Your male rights are not as important as other issues going on right now, and the whole sperm-jacking thing is misogynistic. My point is that the assumptions you have made in your posts here about women (and there have been enough to paint a pretty vivid picture) are hateful. If you made a similar level generalizations about poc as you do about feminists/women, it would be considered very racist.
  15. So why is hate speech not a bannable offense here? Zeff, for an analogy, if the topic was race, you'd be on some "All Lives Matter" circular logic secret white supremacist shit. You're prioritizing the gaps in your male privilege, in the middle of a movement where our society is bringing to light that essentially ALL women have been sexually assaulted. Do you see the issue here? To make it as explicit as possible, the reason "All Lives Matter" is bad, is that they dismiss there is a racism epidemic & systemic racism in the US, while people with dark skin are being murdered by people who we as a society are paying to do so. That's you right now, just with people of the opposite sex instead of race. YOU NEED TO TREAT WOMEN LIKE PEOPLE. THEY ARE PEOPLE WITH A CONCIOUSNESS, JUST LIKE YOU. WHITE CIS MEN ARE NOT THE OPPRESSED MINORITY OF THIS COUNTRY. YES, THERE IS A CLASS WAR. WE ARE ALL OPPRESSED. At least you dont have to live in fear of being raped, or shot by the police unprovoked.
  16. More heat from DJ MC https://shinkaron.bandcamp.com/album/trak-killaz (First track is a bit crap, as it's a DJ Nate cover, but after that it's gold)
  17. DJ Rome put up a bunch of fresh tracks on Bandcamp. A lot of these are favorites of mine from the trax I've been buying from him. https://aeronema.bandcamp.com/album/dj-rome-footwork-heat Good shit! If you don't know, Rome is a Chicago producer and was on the Bangs n Works series.
  18. Cool! I like the subtlety of some of the animations. I think I like the last portrait one the best
