  1. 9 is hard but I had gotten to the point where I could beat the whole game in 2 hours without dying. I can't do that now, considering that I haven't played it in a few years. 10 is much harder than 9, in my opinion. What would you say about 10 that's harder? That antigrav section in the Wily Castle in 9... FUCK THAT. There's not one stage or section that is as hard as that antigrav part (which I had completely forgotten about), but the overall enemy behaviors and difficulty of some of the bosses are harder than they are in 9. The Suzaku birds in Solar Man's stage, all of Strike Man's stage.... they're quite difficult compared to 9. The hardest thing I can remember in 9 is the Devil boss, perhaps the boss of the antigrav stage. That's horrible.

  4. Usually the SMT games are rather long, I think Nocturne took me around 80hrs. But I should have a good idea if it's going to be enjoyable over the next few days. I really like the SMT releases, like the Persona series, Digital Devil Saga, Devil summoner, etc. I loved SMTIV. It was very fun and interesting. It took me 160 hours to finish it, though, most likely because I spent too much time grinding.
  5. shit, how do you fit that in your mouth??
  6. I never foresaw that first pipe being a problem, probably because I made the stage, but also because people apparently play differently than I do. Rather than immediately running forward, I expect people to wait a second or so before running because of what could be immediate death. The timing of the pipe generators is completely random. I hate that it's not the same all the time. As far as the area that you got stuck in, I tested that area countless times so people WOULDN'T get stuck.... I put the spring, the vine, and a super leaf there to help out, but I never had the block with the vine in it blow up :( Plus, there's a bomb and a leaf before you get to that part, and I was hoping that players would ignore the bomb generator altogether and use their tails to break the walls going forward. So many different scenarios went through my head, but still one problem remains that I didn't see happening.... Thanks for your feedback!
  7. Thanks for playing. What did you think of the difficulty of the "boss?" I didn't want people to get there and die quickly before figuring out what to do and then quit because they had to start the whole long stage over again. Your stage was nice and clever. Love the title! The Bowser Jr. x 2 was kind of frustrating, but overall, a very good stage.
  8. Still playing Super Mario Maker. I think we've gotten to a point where newer stages aren't being noticed as much because of the popular "big names" overshadowing the rest. I could be wrong about that, but my newer stages aren't being played, but at launch, pretty much anything that you uploaded would get noticed. At least I know some of my earlier stages are showing up in 100 Mario Challenge. I just wonder what level. Here are my two latest if any more of you guys have picked the game up: Koopa Apartment Demolition: 8B85-0000-0074-5AE8 Cerberus in the Bomb Factory : 12A3-0000-005B-A8D2 I finally stopped playing the game so I could try and finish Disgaea D2 before Disgaea 5 next week. I will have to blaze through it, foregoing the Item World and things like that if I just want to finish. It's not like the game is connected to the new one, but I just hate to have all of these games and haven't beaten any of them since Disgaea 2.
  9. That's good to know. I was really losing my confidence in the game because of all the disappointment behind it. I don't like the art style, but I am willing to overlook that. However, these delays and weird extra plans (live action movie?) have kind of soured me on MN9. Still, I will be buying it day one.
  10. spoken like a true console gamer : ) (this is pretty much my approach but spread across ps4 and wii u. and the occasional 3ds game. and ps2 game. and ps3 game. and gamecube game. and wii game. and sometimes it'll be steam only. but yes agreed, people like to overconsume like cuh-razy!!!!) The Wii U is the only current gen console that I've been playing for a while now. I was playing PS2 a bit recently, but that's really it. I have 3 games for PS4 and never play them. That will change next month when Disgaea 5 comes out (maybe.... I still haven't beaten Disgaea 4 or D2... come to think of it, I have an unopened Disgaea 3...) But, yeah, people like to overconsume, including me at times. I still don't understand the logic behind not buying all the consoles so you will always have something to play, even when one system looks like it's in a drought. People say "Those games look so fun, but Nintendo needs to stop making hardware and put out games for PS4 and Xbone," but why? Just buy a Wii U and play them. I understand some people don't have the money to buy everything (neither do I, but I do it, like an idiot), but the people who say that usually have both of the other two.
  11. This one was cool! Liked it a lot. Just uploaded a new one: A5D2 0000 004B 84C7 And a work in progress (need to unlock a few more things to finish it): 9AA9 0000 004C 1825 Anyone who's familiar with the classic game 'Helicopter' should be familiar with the gameplay of the above. Not sure if the ideas been done or not - probably has! But it works and is fun. I played your two newest stages. The Thwomp castle was cool. The note block section was devilish. I hate note blocks because they bounce much more weirdly than a trampoline. As for the helicopter stage........ I couldn't finish it. I got past the first area and thought it was the end... When I saw that it wasn't, I died once and quit. Maybe later..... Here's my latest one. It's a short airship level that just has a few environmental hazards and not many enemies. It could be kind of tricky. Cubic Cabin Carrier: BEE9-0000-0052-1435

Not sure if the ideas been done or not - probably has! But it works and is fun. nice xD i was a bit skeptical that i spent too much time mapping out the level like crazy as opposed to figuring out ways to actually make it fun. glad it pulled through :D this past week has been nothing but hardcore mario maker addiction. it's like the game has got everything that's terribly addicting about social media (sharing levels, getting likes) mixed with gambling (playing online levels and not knowing if it's gonna be awesome or terrible) mixed in with infinite mario levels. buyer beware!! if you like mario this game has potential to be crack!!! Dude, I stayed up until 7am twice this week trying to make stages. I'm running on 3 hours of sleep, and all I want to do is play Mario Maker. I admit that I have a problem.
  13. Apparently they're counting on Xenoblade X to be their big holiday title, especially with that amazing $90 collector's edition.... But it's not going to sell that well. I'm glad they delayed Star Fox if it isn't up to snuff. I'm not planning to buy it, but for the fans' sake, I want it to be great. I don't doubt that it will be with Platinum making it.
  14. I just stayed up 5 extra hours after work playing Mario Maker..... Damn.... New stage: Mansion of Bleakness: 7D9F-0000-0040-D8DB
  15. Very nice! Yes, precise jumps are definitely the order of the day, but you didn't make anything too unfair. The one thing that I'd say is that you have one section where you have no chance of passing unless you use the koopa shell to kill the plants, and that's a bit unfair because since that's a green koopa, it can walk off of the platform that you need to kick it from, making it impossible to pass that area if you miss it. It's not that big of a deal because your first instinct should be to kick it to the right, but I'd say on the off-chance that someone would jump over it or let it walk off, you should change it to a red koopa. Otherwise, awesome stage! This stage is really well-designed. It's pretty and not too different from an official Nintendo stage. I have no criticisms of it. I had fun with it! It should be a red koopa! It flies straight up and down, so when you knock its head it can only go down where you need it to, I made sure of that. Unless there is a glitch/error when uploading and it's changed. I'll check it later! Look forward to playing all y'all's stages. Damn, you're right! I guess I went through it so fast I could have sworn the thing was green and NOT FLYING, but walking on the platform! Sorry, criticism is totally void! Good job!

  17. Will do! Check out my stages. I'm not very good at this level design thing, but I'm having a good time: Migrate with the Para-Beetles: DF8A-0000-0033-758A Little House of Savages: 89DD-0000-0032-113B Devil's Pyramid: 343A-0000-0029-61C7 From the Pipes: 6656-0000-0025-F18D On tha Bluffs - F1BE-0000-0024-E5BA ......They're not meant to be "hard," but I did want to create something more challenging than running to the right jumping over koopas. The thing that I have not enjoyed about this game is that people are going out of their way to make immediately hard and ridiculous stages the likes of which you'd never see in a Mario game. There are too many stages that start out with almost-immediate instant deaths and traps and dead ends that force you to die or restart the stage because you're stuck. There should never be a stage that forces you to get hit as soon as you start or enter a door. I'm trying to make stages that would be more like something Nintendo would actually make, perhaps of the level SMB2/Lost Levels rather than "HAHAHA THIS SHIT IS SO HARD, NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO BEAT IT EXCEPT FOR ME BECAUSE I MADE IT" Anyway, let me know what you think of my stages!
  18. It's fantastic. I'm having a hard time pulling myself away from it. It's so easy to create stages that make sense and are actually fun. The upload/sharing system is nice, although you have a small cap to how many stages you can upload and the only way to increase that amount is for others to play and star (like) your stage. That's frustrating, but it doesn't matter much, especially if all you want to do is play others stages. It's essentially an endless Mario game. I'm amazed.
  19. How nice. It's good to have if you bought a digital copy Sent from my SM-G730V using Tapatalk
  20. Playing this today I was playing Rayman Legends, but I'm probably going to give it a rest now
  21. Damn, that meat looks delectable.
  22. THIS! The first game on the Xbox original is definitely one of my favorite action games. I really enjoyed the second game until I was forced into countless unfair situations. The life gauge and dismemberment systems were nice additions, but the frustrations due to the cheap difficulty outweighed those improvements overall. I was at a point where 3 huge mechas were simultaneously fighting me at the speed of light while a few soldiers were sniping me with their rocket launchers. Then I ragequit. lol. I think you quit where I quit the first time, the Vigoor capital. That was pure hell and I didn't come back to the game for about 4 years. I was lucky to finally beat that area after retrying years later. I'm glad I'm not the only one to give up at that point in the game.
