  1. It took me a full hour to beat the dog, and I don't even know what I did to beat him other than make sure that I cut the grunts in the right places in order to get the health items. I quit after that.
  2. I don't like MGS games, but I did buy Revengeance simply because the idea was cool and I really like Platinum.... But I couldn't get through it because it was, to me, very hard and still had a stealth element to it, which I'm not into at all. One day, I'm going to get back to it and I hope I like it...
  3. I have a love/hate relationship with Ninja Gaiden 2. It was fun as hell when it wasn't being unfair as hell. The boss that explodes after you beat it, killing you if you aren't prepared? The werewolves who throw corpses and body parts of the guys you previously killed? The rocket launchers that can hit you from behind a mountain? Such unfairness! I'm surprised I actually beat the game because it pissed me off so much. .......... I beat Guacamelee the other day. That's the most fun I've had with a game in quite some time. I was even inclined to 100% it.... But I decided against it after I couldn't find all the areas in Pico de Gallo. I did find the majority of the secrets in the game and finished the Chac Mool challenges. I'm now going back and trying to finally play through Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne. I've been sporadically playing that game since 2005 and have never finished it. It would have been best if I'd come back to it after finishing SMT IV, but I realized I was tired of SMT at that point and couldn't bear to play III.... But now I'm determined to finish this game... and then try Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2 :o
  4. Nice! Give me some info about this tasty-looking thing.
  5. Those are fancy burgers! I don't like tomatoes much, and I really prefer not to eat ketchup on a burger, but these do look tasty.
  6. I am so jealous of all you guys who are making progress in/beating Bloodborne. I suck at it so bad, I just gave up, just like I did with the Souls games (all 3 of them). I have been sticking to games that I can actually manage. Currently playing Guacamelee on Wii U. I love it. Combat is so fast and fun. It's just a well-made game. Considering getting Arkham Knight, but I never finished Arkham City, so I may just go back and play that and wait until a GOTY version of AK comes out.
  7. Latest burger, The Duke, from the local fruit orchard/packing farm. Strange that something like this would be available there.
  8. Kind of looks like a jizz patty, but I imagine that's melted cheese? =/ Cheese jizz. That bun though
  9. I had a burger-eating vacation extravaganza earlier this week.
  10. I fucking loved Killer is Dead. I liked it so much that I bought it twice, first on PS3 and then on X360. I had a great time with that game. Suda's games are always worth playing. I like No More Heroes more than KID but since we're not getting another one of those for quite some time (if ever), KID is the next best thing. I was not disappointed.
  11. Yeah it's getting neat reviews from both reviewers and players but I don't know. I hated every second of Dark Souls and this looks eerily familiar. Don't have a whole lot of money (and time outside of the weekends) for games these days either, so it's a lot of money to throw away on something I maybe won't be able to enjoy. Don't know why they don't just throw a dirty casual mode in there already. Wouldn't hurt anyone. Haven't played it yet, but for me the appeal it IS like the Souls games, but with some variations that make it sound refreshing and interesting. Honestly, if you didn't like any prior Souls games, I would try before you buy on Bloodborne. Damn it. I can't even get past the first area. If I don't make any progress soon, I'm going to stop buying From's games. It's a shame. I liked both Demon's Souls and Dark Souls despite their difficulty. I stopped playing them both because I was "afraid" to lose large amounts of souls and not be able to get back to the spot. It got to be too much. The penalty for death was too high. DS2 was just ridiculous with its death penalties that I didn't spend much time on it at all. I thought DS 2 was way more generous, but then I found it pretty easy compared to the first two games. It's a shame you're not enjoying it, the Souls series have always been rewarding regardless of deaths. I just hated the fact that in addition to losing your souls and humanity, your defense and HP were halved every time you died in DS2. That made it almost impossible for me to get past the parts I found difficult. Yes, it was easier to begin with, but it started to really hurt after a while. I just couldn't do it. I got pretty far in DS1 but was just too frustrated after losing a ton of souls due to a death that I didn't know how to avoid and a recovery that was impossible. I just felt fed up with them both.

  13. I'm really hoping I can enjoy Bloodborne, but I sucked so bad at the Souls games that it just wasn't fun. I'm hoping for a different feeling. I haven't even opened the game yet because I'm thinking I may need to return it and get my money back because I won't be able to do anything with it. Money is tight these days.
  14. oh shiiiit !!!! this is surpassing any expectations regarding this thread ! that Ass song though ! Yeah, that ass song is actually not terrible. The lyrics are, but the music and vocals aren't really bad....
  15. Not sure if anyone has posted this shit yet, but.... Terrible shit. Can't get it out of my head.
  16. I bought Dragon Ball Xenoverse for PS4 yesterday. I played it for a few hours and kinda like it, which is saying a lot considering I have hated every DB-related game since Budokai 3.
  17. So you're saying you saw Bjork standing at a show alone and you didn't talk to her!? I would be scared. I've seen videos of her tearing people up. Apparently she's not really friendly to strangers. I saw her maul a reporter once on the news, really scratched into the guys face lol. I could be missing some context though, maybe she's super friendly who knows. I remember that, from Wikipedia...On 13 January 2008, Björk attacked a photographer who had photographed her arrival at Auckland International Airport in New Zealand for her scheduled performance at the Big Day Out festival.[62] Björk allegedly tore the photographer's shirt down the back, and in the process she fell to the ground.[63] Neither the photographer nor his employer, The New Zealand Herald, lodged a formal complaint, and Auckland police did not investigate further. EDIT: Or maybe it's this incident? In 1996, Björk arrived at Bangkok International Airport with her son Sindri after a long haul flight when Julie Kaufman, a female reporter, greeted Björk with "Welcome to Bangkok", which was then followed by Björk's attacking her and knocking her to the ground. Björk has said that the reason for the attack was that the reporters in the airport started talking to her son, saying such things as, "It must be hard to be the son of a pop star." Björk's record company also said that the reporter had been pestering Björk for four days. Björk later apologized to Kaufman, who declined to involve the police. The incident would appear on the TruTV series TruTV Presents: World's Dumbest... and VH1's "100 Most Shocking Moments in Rock and Roll". the fact that there's more than one incident helps paint a picture though lol Bjork panties. I'm torn as to whether that's hot or not. I'm of the opinion that it is super-hot. If I had been there and caught the panties, I'd be all like Gollum to this day....... I would happily get my face scratched just to say hi. Some of you guys... Haha. I was sort of joking. I would have loved to just say hi to her myself.

  19. I can't stop listening to Acid Organ, Notting Hill Bus, and 7 Cutting. The melody in Organ sounds so sad to me (it may not be at all, but it hits me in an emotional place). Also, do you guys think Notting Hill Bus is like an early version of Vordhosbn? That's what it sounds like to me. I also like Plinkyplonk a lot. Kinda similar to Pacman.
  20. I finally finished listening to all of the tracks yesterday, and I'm so thankful to RDJ for giving us this music. It's kind of like listening to the growth of an artist or a glimpse into his creative process, an intimate tour of his artistry. So many good tunes given to us these past few weeks.
