  1. I just saw this and thought Owen Jones had been in conversation with Maps and Diagrams.
  2. Buckfast makes you violent? Ive only ever had pure manlove off it. Its a high that other drinks cannot reach. Its the Buckfast cocktails and going to the offy at opening time to get their supply of Buckfast to share at an after party moments that I remember. Nothing can be shared like a big bottle.
  3. TIWYWTIWYG innit? Stanley had to leave Montsegur but if that has meant he is back making film then so be it.
  4. Lost Souls. I know it's 2000... But it basically encapsulates most of the 90's supernatural goth horror that was running rampant throughout the decade. I worked at a movie theatre when it was released and begged the manager to let me take home the movie poster after we stopped showing the film. =P ... End Of Days was another one... And Dracula 2000... Damnit... I have to dig out my box of old DVDs from storage soon. You guys have made me all nostalgic. =X Forgot that one. Ben Chaplin who seemed to have moved over to LA at that point with the original 80s cult woman. I have seen that film once but will try to watch it tomorrow. Cheers for the heads up.
  5. In terms of cast The Age Of Innocence just haemorrhoids 90s blood.
  6. 90s Supernatural Gothic Horror films are so good! Stigmata sequel Bringing Out The Dead has Patricia Arquette reprise her role but this time as an undercover woman of the night. Scorsese really adds to the original IMO.
  7. Is that Prodigy track just made to pop your ear drums?
  8. Not safe for your office cubicle office worker..
  9. Revenge couple of interesting scenes when under the influence of peyote other than that nothing new here. Les garcons sauvage is the one you want. Sea of Thieves done by Kathy Acker.

  11. Read Revenge was shown alongside Mandy in a cinema in the States. Its the 2017 French vengeance one. Anyone seen it?
  12. Few films recently.... Medusa Touch Welsh alcoholic plays mind control games. We will bring the whole edifice down on their unworthy heads! Executive Action 1972 JFK Conspiracy from early 70s, I followed this up with an Adam Curtis doc A is for Atom - my loathing for government bad decisions increasing Predestination Time loop infinite, like being in England in the 1800s, pure family lines, keep it in the family etc Victoria Spanish worker in Berlin meets real Berliners and seems bored by them, these are my friends Dotzen, Dippy and Donato. Storytelling Interracial sex scenes obscured with giant red squares, no Happiness but Giamatti and the exploitation of teenage angst by him was great. Loved it.
  13. Good balance there Nebras! Someone invited me to watch that Tom Cruise film, and the look I gave back meant my friend would never ask me to watch a Tom Cruise film again. Result.
  14. Steven Soderbergh reference in this film from 2001... https://ibb.co/ioTBoV
  15. Who are these cnuts and why have I just wasted few mins of my life reading about them?
  16. I wanted to love Splice cause of Natali. Cube, Cypher, Nothing, Below. Only seen it once when it first came out, perhaps I should rewatch it.
  17. We are left with Adam Driver, Daniel Radcliffe, Jamie Bell, James McAvoy and A N Other! I like the lesser known leads Stacey Keach, Roy Dupuis, Peter Weller, all distinctive, no collective following bullshit. Forge your own path my san.
  18. Never seen so much leather and latex in a film since the first Blade film. Friedkin is in pure hype mode here though.
  19. I lived in Preston once, on Plunginton Road (Plungeeeee Road to the locals), neighbour used to wake up at 4am to do diy. Heard him on the phone once to his girlfriend, threatening her and her dog, telling her he would kill her dog. What a cnut. Never met him but would have found to hard to bite my tongue if I had.
  20. That's the best thing I have ever read on the internet. Worthy of being talked about in hundreds of years like Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. Its one of those they never tell you ones innit.
  21. Dont suppose any american folks want to sell some wii u games? I got an American wii u last week.
  22. Rourke as Bukowski one of the greatest miscasts of all time. Rourke irish american playboy hard nut plays american alcoholic deadbeat with a bit of IQ. He plays him like a deranged drunk annoying twat spewing sentences like vomit. Unwatchable.
  23. Pretentious guy might have a stutter as stutterers or stammerers can sometimes put on a fake voice to maintain fluency. I used to do it though not to his level when I was a covert stammerer years ago.
