  1. I've been sinking my teeth well into Luke's stuff in the last month or so, really loving it (listening to Plug's DNB For Papa at work right now). his discography is massive, wide-ranging and excellent all round, but I've been spending the most time with Wagon Christ, those albums are so amazing. just lovely, cool, natural-sounding music full of joie de vivre and sprezzatura. so: 1. what's your favourite Luke alias? 2. what's your favourite release per alias? 3. what's your overall favourite release? mine: 1. Wagon Christ for sure, although I have yet to dig properly into Kerr
  2. I recently came across this digital album that is supposedly a collaboration between Luke Vibert and Aphex Twin. I haven't listened all the way through, but what is the story? Is this incorrectly labeled or? I know they were doing some collaborating with Reason during a gig in Australia(?) when Luke got interviewed instead of AT. I wasn't aware if they released something official.
  3. Is anyone thinking of going to the Bangface weekender in Cornwall- England: 14-16 Sept? I haven't managed to convince any of my friends so I'm looking for somene or peeps to go along with. It's going to be lots of braindance peeps with a Rephlex showcase - peeps like: Aphex Twin, VenetianSnares, µ-ZIQ, Ceephax acid crew, Aleksi Perala, Wisp, Luke Vibert, Tim Exile, Dave Monolith.etc. http://www.bangface....w2012lineup.htm If interested drop me a note. Cheers.

  7. Richard's arthritis is now too pronounced for him to twiddle knobs. He's only fit to be wheeled round various festivals in a kind of pimped Y-reg Davros/Popemobile contraption which is really just a hi-tech Japanese bidet on Good Year tyres. His food (mainly leeks) is liquidised and shot down his urethra via a catheter where it leeches through his duodenum and keeps his gnarled heart beating. Luke Vibert still visits him fortnightly, primarily to apply linctus. Richard tells him he looks like the boy who used to come and visit him. The wee Richard keeps in kilner jars has now phosphorised and

  10. Just stumbled upon this vid: @ 0:23 sec you see him on a couch with some very cool roland cushins. Info about the documentary by the maker here: Just asked when this'll be released, so now waiting for an answer, looks pretty cool!
  11. Been lurking on here on and off for years. Visiting London and realizing that this show wasn't posted here inspired me to make an account. If you'll be there and you want to grab a pint with a giant synth-minded American, drop me a message. http://www.residenta...ent.aspx?363891

  13. On Saturday 2nd June Soundcrash takes it back to basics for an evening of live electronics, featuring headline sets from three original acid innovators. This is all taking place at a secret East London warehouse, for a night not to be missed! Topping the bill will be non-other than Luke Vibert. When he’s not busy donning his Wagon Christ and Plug aliases this pioneering music maker can be found making dance floors across the world move to his unique amalgamation of acid, drum’n'bass, techno, hip hop, electro and whatever else he fancies throwing in the pot!! With a whopping 21 albums under

  16. so that recent track ID topic got me thinking there was this one great hardcore jungle track that I've never been able to identify. It's from the old Pukkelpop set (with Luke Vibert). Here's the track: http://youtu.be/gH10jpzWvWs And if that helps anyone, it contains the sample "don't go with strangers" used in this hip hop track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIvJJ9ouSF8
